Internal Political Developments of Zionist Regime
NOURNEWS – Simultaneously, the developments in the West Bank are also affected by the war-mongering attitude of the extreme Israeli government, leading to an increase in tensions. The escalation of security pressures on Palestinians, the intensification of settlement activities, and the suppression of popular protests have all contributed to the escalation of tensions in this region.

Israel's political and security crisis has entered a new phase. The extreme right-wing religious faction, which has expanded its influence within the power structure in recent years, is now completing the process of dominating all branches of government. The new policies of the Netanyahu government, which include disregard for Supreme Court rulings, weakening of independent institutions, and fundamental changes to the electoral system, not only transform the internal political structure but also place Israel, and consequently the region, on the path to a widespread security crisis.
From Engineering the Power Structure to Eliminating Opponents
Israel has always presented itself as a democracy, but in recent months, government policies have taken a clear step towards consolidating power. Severe attacks on the judiciary, attempts to change the composition of the electoral committee, and imposing restrictions on voters all indicate that the extreme right-wing is seeking to engineer long-term political outcomes. This current, comprised of extreme religious groups and radical right-wingers, is changing the face of politics in Israel with Netanyahu's support.
A clear example of this trend is the government's resistance to the Supreme Court's rulings regarding the head of the Shin Bet. While the court's ruling called for the cancellation of Ronen Bar's dismissal, Netanyahu not only ignored the ruling but also increased political pressure on the judicial institutions. This action, alongside severe media attacks on Supreme Court judges, is a clear indication of Israel's trajectory towards authoritarianism.
Return of Itamar Ben-Gvir and Resumption of War
Another sign of the rise of the extreme right is the return of Itamar Ben-Gvir, the former Defense Minister, to the government and the political scene. He, who had resigned in protest against the government's policies after the ceasefire with Gaza and Lebanon, has once again taken center stage in security decision-making with the escalation of clashes on the northern and southern borders. His return indicates that war, as a political tool, is back on the government's agenda.
With the resumption of attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, it has become clear that the ceasefire was only a temporary tactic, and Israel, under Netanyahu's leadership and that of his extreme allies, is seeking a military solution to consolidate its power internally. This policy, in addition to creating unrest on the borders, increases the risk of Israel becoming embroiled in a full-scale regional conflict.
Security Consequences in the Region
The policies of the Israeli government have dangerous consequences not only internally but also at the regional level. The escalation of attacks on Gaza and Lebanon has increased the likelihood of the conflict spreading. Hezbollah in Lebanon and Palestinian resistance groups, which had previously issued warnings about Israeli aggression, have so far refrained from taking offensive action to manage tensions, but the continuation of this trend could pave the way for new decisions by the resistance.
An Uncertain Future for the Zionist Regime
What is happening in Israel today is not just an ordinary political crisis. This trend reflects deep changes in the power structure and the political future of this regime. If the extreme right-wing religious faction can gain complete control, democracy in Israel will become a mere formality, and suppressive policies internally will be accompanied by military adventures in the region.
Whether the Zionist regime ultimately moves towards an authoritarian state or can maintain a balance of power depends on various factors. However, what is certain is that the current trajectory has driven Israel towards an unprecedented crisis.
