IQNA – A Lebanese analyst hailed Iran’s recent missile attack against Israeli targets, saying it shattered the illusion of the Zionist regime’s power and victory.
Mikhael Awaz, in an article for IQNA, wrote that the attack made the Zionist realize that there is a long distance between the reality and illusion.
In a bold response to a series of high-profile assassinations,
The Islamic Republic of Iran carried out Operation True Promise II on October 1, targeting key Israeli military and intelligence installations with its missiles.
It launched a barrage of missiles toward the Zionist entity’s military and intelligence and spying bases in a retaliatory attack which set off sirens all over the occupied Palestinian territories.
Flares and missiles were seen in the Tel Aviv sky and explosions could be heard in the occupied al-Quds, while “direct hits” were reported in Negev, Sharon, and other locations.
The operation came in response to the regime’s assassinations of Hamas’s chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah’s leader Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan.
In his article for IQNA, Awaz said Iran launched the operation on its own while it could also use all the potential of the axis of resistance.
Iran has vowed to give a more powerful response if the Israeli regime makes another provocative move, he noted, adding that while Operation True Promise II was limited to military and security targets, that may not be the case in any future operations.
He also highlighted the full preparedness of Hezbollah resistance forces in confrontation with the Zionist regime, saying the Israeli forces had made preparations for a ground invasion of Lebanon since a long time ago but Hezbollah’s rocket attacks prevented any such invasion.
Awaz further referred to the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempts to change the equations and his dream of gaining all-out hegemony in the region.
He said the United States and Israeli rabbis were in the illusion that the Zionist regime’s prime minister is capable of affecting history, geography and developments in the region, but the recent developments proved them wrong.
The Lebanese analyst went on to say that the strategic situation in the region and the power equation are against Israel and its allies and with the likely failure of the Zionist regime in the war, it will have no place in the region any more.
