A large number of students at New York University's Staten Island College staged a protest against the abuse of their peers by university staff amid college campus demonstrations in the US over Israel’s war on Gaza.
The students said their colleagues have been targeted by the university staff for expressing solidarity with Palestinian people in Gaza.
American college campuses have seen an unprecedented wave of protests against Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since April 18.
The protests spread to more than 100 colleges and universities across the country.
US police launched heavy-handed clampdowns on the protests making nearly 3,000 arrests, including faculty members.
