Saudi FM

TEHRAN, (MNA) – Referring to the tragic events in Gaza and the Rafah region, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia said, "Israel knows no boundaries for its criminal actions."

The acting foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani held a telephone talk with his Saudi Arabian counterpart Faisal bin Farhan on Friday.

In this telephone call, Bagheri Kani emphasized the full readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate with Saudi Arabia to hold this year's Hajj rituals as successfully as possible.

Referring to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, especially in Rafah, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs added, "In recent days, we have witnessed tragic events against the Palestinian refugees in the Rafah region, during which dozens of innocent, defenseless and oppressed women and children were martyred."

The occupying regime of Israel has suffered unprecedented failures in all international arenas, including the political, international legal, and public diplomacy arenas, and at the same time, it is trying to make up for it through crimes in Rafah," Bagheri Kani noted.

Today, supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza and specifically in Rafah is the religious and Islamic duty of all of us, and it is necessary for Islamic countries and the region to work together to take practical measures in this regard, he added.
