Release of Adrian Darya Iran's diplomatic victory over Britain

Release of Adrian Darya Iran's diplomatic victory over Britain

Moscow, IRNA - Head of the Department of Regional Studies Theory at Moscow State Linguistic University Vadim Makarenko believes that the release of Adrian Darya (Grace 1) in Gibraltar is Iran's diplomatic victory over Britain and once again demonstrated the skill of Iran's diplomatic apparatus to the world.
Vadim Makarenko said in an interview with IRNA on Monday that a number of factors contributed to this diplomatic victory, the most important of which was Iran's diplomatic efforts, including at the United Nations.
The expert added that the British government hoped, by following US policies against Iran, it would gain concessions, most notably support for the European Union on the Brexit issue and when it left the union, which is likely to occur in October.
He explained that Britain did not want to pay about $ 60 billion in separation from the EU and the British had announced they could pay up to $ 20 billion.
Makarenko said Iran showed by its actions that it was not willing to sacrifice its interests for the sake of others and was making every possible effort to gain its rights in international scene.
The Russian academician believes that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) played a key role in Iran's pulling out of international isolation.
Makarenko highlighted that today the situation of Iran was better than those years, and those who were criticizing the Iranian government for signing the JCPOA would be better off comparing the current situation before the JCPOA.
At the same time, he believes that burial of the JCPOA is too early and efforts should be made, especially by European parties to implement Iran nuclear deal.
The Russian expert said Russia was on the side of Iran in implementing the JCPOA and was continuing its diplomatic efforts to support Tehran on the one hand and to implement the JCPOA on the other hand.
The Russian expert elsewhere on tensions in the Persian Gulf reiterated that this international waterway should be free of any tension and the countries of the region should work together to secure it.
The presence of foreign forces adds to the tensions in the region, creating a situation that could at any moment become an armed conflict, and the situation surrounding Iran's downing of the US spy drone has shown this fact, he stated.
Makarenko underlined that Russia was working to maintain stability and calm the region and to prevent Western plots in the region and a Persian Gulf security plan has been put forward for that purpose.
Oil tanker Grace 1 was renamed Adrian Daria and is now sailing towards Mediterranean Sea, said deputy head of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran on Friday.
Jalil Eslami added that when the oil tanker was in detention in Gibraltar, Panama ended use of the country's flag for it, as the owner of the vessel requested for the oil tanker to carry Iranian flag.
"Grace 1 was renamed Adrian Daria whose next destination after detention is Mediterranean Sea," he said, noting that it seems it will face no specific problem en route for the sea and next destination.
The official hoped the incident will never occur for the Iranian vessels as well as those carrying Iranian goods.
Grace 1, a supertanker carrying Iranian oil, was seized last month by British Royal Marines off the coast of the British Mediterranean territory of Gibraltar on suspicion of violating sanctions against Syria.
The Gibraltar court decided to release the crew of the ship, but the US was trying to block the release of Grace 1.
The US was struggling to block the release of the tanker, but in defiance of its attempts, Gibraltar court issued a ruling to release the ship.

Flames Flying Burn Those Playing With Fire

By: Kayhan Int’l

It is dangerous to ignite the flames of sedition against a peace-loving nation that is proverbial for its patience, piety, and prudence, but on no account will passively watch the violation of its sovereignty or the killing of its citizens.
It means those who foolishly play with fire through their acts of aggressions on Iranian interests, territory, or people, by ignoring the repeated warnings, are likely to end up as lifeless bodies when the instruments of divine wrath are unleashed upon them.
Moreover, the death of such aggressors, whoever they might be, including Global Arrogance or its foot soldiers, does not bring them any relief, but opens up upon them the eternal fire and fury of Hell.
This was the fate of those who recently infiltrated Iran’s northwestern border provinces, tried in vain to stir up sedition, and cowardly killed Iranian guards, on the assumption that they and their bases are safe in Iraqi Kurdistan under the protection of the Great Satan.
Iran’s response, however, was swift and searing as drones and missiles found with pinpoint precision the hideouts of the terrorists, reducing their Israeli-supplied arsenals to debris and many of them to charred bodies or severely injured, writhing in pain and agony for their treason against the country.
It is self-deception to think that the traitors operating against Iran, whether from across the borders of Iraqi Kurdistan or for from across the borders of Pakistani Baluchistan, are not following the orders of the US, Saudi Arabia, and the Zionist regime.
As a matter of fact these are all coordinated moves against the Islamic Republic and sequels to Donald Trump the Dotard’s breach of the international nuclear accord and his dragging of the US towards its doom on the misconception of forcing Iran to yield.
As a result we have seen the CENTCOM terrorists damage six oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman so far, lose their highly sophisticated and expensive spying drone to a perfect missile shot when it entered Iranian airspace, goad Britain to commit an act of piracy in the Strait of Gibraltar through seizure of a super tanker carrying Iranian crude, and order treacherous elements hiding in Iraqi Kurdistan to cross into Iran to disturb peace and murder Iranian soldiers.
It is hoped that the latest retaliation of the Islamic Republic will serve as a lesson for the US and its cohorts, of the fate that awaits them in case of one wrong move.
In the meantime, as demanded by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Britain should release the illegally detained tanker ‘Grace 1’ or get ready to face the consequences of its blatant act of piracy on the high seas.
No, Iranian boats did not fail to seize the tanker ‘British Heritage’ in the Strait of Hormuz, as alleged, due to it being escorted by a British destroyer.
If and when Iranian marine patrols decide to divert any British vessel towards Iranian ports, they will do it with a clear announcement and along with British warship(s) as well.

Time to Cut Britain to Its Diminutive Size

By: Kayhan Int’l

What made Britain chose one of the most humiliating days in its colonial history to commit a self-humiliating act that only increases its ignominy to the detriment of its dwindling international interests?
Inferiority complex, of course, for a country in crisis, with no leadership in sight to steer the ship out of the choppy waters of Brexit, and with a buffoon like Boris Johnson aspiring to emerge as Premier in London, to the delight of the quixotic Donald Trump in Washington.
It now becomes clear why the British indulged in an act of piracy in the Strait of Gibraltar by seizing a super tanker carrying Iranian crude oil on July 4, the anniversary of the ‘Declaration of Independence’ of their 13 rebellious New England colonies, which these days as the United States of America arrogantly gives orders to the former ‘Redcoats’ and the current ‘Tommy Atkins’, to commit terrorism against the Islamic Republic.
On the anniversary of independence from Britain, while large crowds of Americans fed up with their inefficient administration, made a bonfire for the first time ever of the "Stars & Stripes” in front of the White House, as Donald the Dotard continued to blow his own trumpet to the few listeners cheering his nonsense without bothering to understand what he was saying, the British humbly obeyed the instructions from the other side of the Atlantic, by ambushing the oil tanker and towing it to the occupied Rock of Gibraltar, which is actually sovereign Spanish territory.
The ship "Grace 1” was cruising through international waters and no country has any right to either stop it or detain it, on whatever pretext, since the right of navigation is guaranteed by the UN, which has not subjected Iran to any sanctions.
In Tehran, British ambassador, Rob Macaire, was promptly summoned to the Foreign Ministry and sounded stern warning with the demand that "Grace 1” be immediately set free.
The European Union quickly distanced itself from Britain’s act of piracy that has been condemned by world countries, with the only exception being the US whose National Security Advisor, the bespectacled bozo John Bolton, not only lauded the apparently terrorist move, but further humiliated London by saying that the orders were given by Washington to commit the crime.
In Iran, we are not concerned of the slavish attitude of Britain towards the US, and wish to make it clear that the Islamic Republic now has every right to take appropriate action against the vested interests of the British regime in our region.
Iranians feel that the perpetrators of this latest crime against them should not be allowed to go unpunished, and it is time that over-inflated Britain was cut down to its real diminutive size.
In Tehran, we entertain no threats, and if a colonial relic of the past, along with the fast fading American Empire, were to think that they can get away with their crimes, then they are merely deceiving themselves.
Hopefully, "Grace 1” will be released, along with an official apology. If not, justice will be swift and sure; and will further increase the humiliation of Britain.
