The death on November 11 of British mercenary James Le Mesurier in Istanbul has raised hopes for peace in Syria. It could come none too soon for the traumatized people of Syria that have endured more than eight years of war and bloodshed. While he died on Remembrance Day, Le Mesurier is unlikely to be remembered by many, even those who projected him as larger than life while he served their imperialist agenda.

The former British military and intelligence officer founded the White Helmets outfit, a supposedly humanitarian organization, in March 2013. The initial $300,000 seed money for this cynical project was provided by Britain, the US, and Japan.

What was the British mercenary doing in Istanbul where he died (or was killed)? In addition to creating the White Helmets, he also established the MayDay Rescue outfit to “train” al-Qaeda operatives for terrorist activities in Syria. It was outside the MayDay Rescue offices in Istanbul that his body was found very early in the morning (around 4:30 am).

Whosoever was responsible or whatever the cause of his death, the British mercenary-created outfit was responsible for much vile propaganda against the Syrian government. Money was no problem. Between 2013 and 2016, Le Mesurier received $123 million from Britain and the US to train the so-called White Helmets in their black art.

So successful was he in his work that the British Queen even conferred upon him the title of the “Order of the British Empire” (OBE) in 2016. Surely it was not for “humanitarian work” — there was little of it in Syria despite the media hype — but to advance Britain’s dirty war aims, together with the rogue superpower, the US, and its Zionist and Arabian allies.

Projected as a real-life James Bond — with the same first name — Le Mesurier was lionized by much of the British media. The British Foreign Office-funded propaganda mouthpiece, the BBC, was in the forefront of this campaign.

And so loved were White Helmets in the Western world that in 2016, the group was given the “Right Livelihood Award” in recognition for “outstanding bravery, compassion, and humanitarian engagement in rescuing civilians.” It was also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize the same year. The mercenary Western-financed outfit (White Helmets) has even been the subject of a Netflix documentary, which won an Oscar, no less. This is Western propaganda at its best projecting the outfit’s non-existent virtues.

Not everyone, however, has been taken in by such propaganda. Two intrepid journalists, Vanessa Beeley and Eva Bartlett who have been on the ground in Syria for extended periods during the foreign imposed war, have exposed the group’s nefarious activities. Both have also exposed Western propaganda in projecting the White Helmets as some kind of white knights in shining armor!

The two independent journalists have written extensively about the real purpose of the White Helmets and their Western backers. Such firsthand information, however, has found no space in the corporate media. That would have exposed its lies. Only the alternate media has given space to real reporting from the scene.

In an undated photograph, James Le Mesurier goes over an intelligence operation with colleague Nadera al-Sukkar. According to his housekeeper, Mesurier was agitated, tensed, and stressed over the last couple of weeks of his life, requiring prescription sleeping pills to be able to go to sleep. On the day before he “fell to his death,” he had gone to the hospital for medication to lower his blood pressure. He obviously knew his handlers were done with him.

The only exception to the corporate media’s silence has been John Wight writing in the British daily, The Guardian. This is what Wight had to say about Le Mesurier’s activities in an article on April 17, 2018,

Le Mesurier carries about him the inescapable whiff of Britain’s malign legacy of dirty wars, waged in Kenya, Aden, Ireland, Iraq, Libya, in other words wherever London’s blood-soaked imperialist foot has tread around the world. The question of why a given state becomes fragile and failing is of course neither asked nor explored, for doing so would dredge up the subject of imperialism, which for Western ideologues such as Mr. Le Mesurier would be akin to a vampire being exposed to daylight.

Writing for the web-based portal, Mintpress (July 13, 2017), Whitney Webb made even more startling revelations about Le Mesurier and his activities,

Prior to his founding of the White Helmets, Le Mesurier served as Vice President for Special Projects at the Olive Group, a private mercenary organization that has since merged with Blackwater-Academi into what is now known as Constellis Holdings. Then, in 2008, Le Mesurier left the Olive Group after he was appointed to the position of Principal at Good Harbor Consulting, chaired by Richard A. Clarke — a veteran of the US national security establishment and the counter-terrorism “czar” under the Bush and Clinton administrations.

His entire life was spent with murderous mercenary outfits like Blackwater-Academi. It is, therefore, simplistic to accept that Le Mesurier was on a “humanitarian mission” or guided by the noble intention to help Syrian civilians caught in a war.

Not everyone in the West has lied as brazenly about the real purpose of outfits like the White Helmets as the media. Occasionally Western politicians and top military brass have candidly confessed to their real plans in the Muslim East. Such admission reflects more their arrogance than honesty: that they can do what they like and there is little others can do about it.

Take the case of the British Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Philip Jones. In a speech to the First Sea Lords Defence and Security Conference at the City of London, Jones stated last year that “the hard punch of military power is often delivered inside the kid glove of humanitarian relief.”

It is for this reason that military actions sponsored by the US, Britain, Canada, and their allies for the past several decades have often been framed as “humanitarian interventions.” The victims of such interventions know all too well their deadly consequences. After all, they have paid the price in life and blood. The propaganda is meant to hoodwink Western populations into believing that their governments and militaries are involved in “civilizing” missions. It makes them feel good.

Le Muserier’s death is not likely to end the sordid work of Western mercenaries or their local agents. His elimination from the scene, however, would make the propaganda work of the scandalously corrupt outfit like White Helmets a little more difficult. The Syrian people are thankful for even small mercies.

Another Western terrorist mastermind responsible for much propaganda and mayhem in Syria has died.

The body of James Le Mesurier who founded the White Helmets in Syria was discovered in the early hours of November 11 on a street in Istanbul where he had been living.

The cause of his death was not immediately clear although there are strong suspicions that Le Mesurier, like the Daesh leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi had outlived his usefulness and became dispensable.

The police in Istanbul said that Le Mesurier had slash marks on his face and there were fractures on his legs. They have launched an investigation but say that review of CCTV footage showed only two person in the building, the mercenary and his wife.

It is also possible that he may have been bumped off by some intelligence agency on the lookout for him because of his disruptive role in Syria.

Presented as a “humanitarian organization”, the White Helmets was merely a propaganda tool of the West that worked hand-in-glove with such terrorist outfits as al-Qaeda (aka al-Nusra Front) in Syria.

The ever-so tactful BBC, reporting Le Mesurier’s death wrote on its web page: “A former British Army intelligence officer who was honoured by the Queen for his work with the White Helmets civil defence group (sic) in Syria has been found dead near his office in Istanbul… [ ]… The cause of death was not immediately clear.”

So there!

Only three days earlier, however, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, had called on Britain to “clarify” Le Mesurier’s precise role, asking whether he had links to the terrorist group, al-Qaeda.

In her tweet, Zakharova wrote:

The question of who Le Mesurier really was kept propping up even in the British media. John Wight, writing in the Guardian had this to say:

Western-created “civil defence groups” such as White Helmets for which Le Mesurier received $300,000 seed money (no small potatoes) and over a three-year period the sum of $123 milllion, are the thin-edge of Western military wedge.

He also created the MayDay Rescue operations to “train” al-Qaeda operatives. It was outside the offices of MayDay Rescue in Istanbul that his body was found early today.

Some British military officers have been quite candid about the real function of such “humanitarian organizations.”

US Master Weaver of False Flags Uses Threadbare Material

It can’t get more absurdly audacious than this. The Trump administration is accusing Syria’s government forces of using once again – allegedly – internationally banned chemical weapons against civilians.

The US has provided no evidence to support its accusations. This time, it seems to have run out of “material”, relying on bombastic assertion and the dubious “word” of Washington alone. Yes, that’s how desperately hard-up the master weaver of false flags has become. “It is because, er, well, we say it is.”

The American claims come (there’s the giveaway clue) just when the Syrian Arab Army and its Russian ally are moving to clear the country of the last-remaining anti-government militant stronghold in northeast Idlib province. These aren’t cuddly “moderate rebels” the Western media would have you believe. They are affiliated to the barbaric, internationally outlawed Al Qaeda network and myriad offshoots. The terrorists who supposedly carried out 9/11 whom the US has been purportedly waging a war against for the past two decades.

Moreover, the Syrian, Russian offensive has been brought on because the terrorists repeatedly broke ceasefire agreements by firing on Syrian citizens in nearby Aleppo city and the Russian airbase at Hmeimim.

So, what the breathless US claims about chemical weapons is really about is to hamper the Syrian, Russian offensive routing the terrorist enclave plaguing Syria. That’s because despite all the rhetoric about fighting terrorism, the Americans and their NATO allies have covertly sponsored the same terrorists over the past eight years to destabilize Syria for regime change. Having an enclave in Syria not under government control is a convenient way for the foreign enemies of President Assad to maintain a destabilizing influence on the country, to ensure that it never fully recovers from the eight-year war that these foreign enemies orchestrated, but for all intents and purposes have lost.

Additionally, the hackneyed old “chemical weapons against civilians” ruse could be used to justify the Americans launching missile strikes on Syria and intervening directly for its regime-change objective. With the buildup of US firepower in the Persian Gulf ostensibly to counter alleged Iranian aggression, Washington has got the military resources in place if it choses to redirect them for aggressing Syria. (Double-think alert!)

What makes this all so brazen is the flagrant nature of false flags with chemical weapons that the Americans and their NATO allies have been complicit in. Just last week it emerged that the UN-affiliated Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) suppressed its own expert opinion which concluded that a chemical weapon incident last year in Syria was most likely contrived by Western-backed terrorists as a false flag. The incident was in Douma near the capital Damascus last April. At the time, the Western media dutifully broadcast the sensational claims that it was the Syrian government forces which had dropped the deadly munitions from the air. Within a week of the alleged atrocity, the Americans, British and French launched a barrage of over 100 air strikes, killing several Syrian civilians, in what they claimed was “retaliation” for Syrian government “barbarity” against civilians. (Sick bag please for the overwhelming double-think.)

Many observers at the time of the Douma incident strenuously pointed out the anomalies of the claim that Syrian government forces were to blame. Witness accounts, including local doctors, testified that the whole scenario was set up by jihadists and their White Helmets accomplices. The chemical munitions were not dropped from the sky by aircraft, it was reliably claimed; they were delivered on the ground by the so-called “rebels”. An OPCW expert corroborated that account. Yet his report was suppressed by the OPCW chiefs. The Hague-based organization seems to have been pressured politically to conceal the truth. Why? Because it would show the US, Britain and France were guilty of a huge war crime by attacking Syria with air strikes based on a complete lie.

Notably and damnably, too, the Western news media have not reported on the OPCW cover-up. Because the corporate-controlled networks, newspapers and state-owned news services like the BBC are part of the propaganda machine. They don’t sell truth, they sell war. And they’re not going to admit that.

The lie over the Douma chemical weapons incident, just like many other such incidents in the past such as in East Ghouta in August 2013 and presently in Idlib, is an expedient. It is expedient for the US and its allies to demonize the Syrian government and its Russian ally, and to lionize “rebels” who in reality are nothing but foreign terrorist mercenaries who have been sent to that country on the errand of regime change for the US and its criminal allies.

The expedient lie extends to the ultimate deception of giving Washington and its NATO accomplices an excuse for attacking a sovereign country. In other words, carrying out a Nazi-like aggression – the supreme war crime – but in the guise of a chivalrous protector of civilians, human rights and international law.

You can’t get more audacious than that, nor more nauseating.

The one upside, however, to all this repeated chicanery is that the American master weaver of false flags has spun so many of them over the years (Havana Harbor, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, 9/11, Iraqi WMD, Syrian CWs, Iranian aggression, and so on) that the lie material has now become threadbare to the point of transparency.

Western States Salvage Terror Assets in Syria

Western states made a dramatic intervention in the Syrian war earlier this week to extricate hundreds of terrorist militants. The militants are to be fast-tracked for resettlement in Europe and Canada.

But in saving their terror assets, Western governments are risking future public safety as well as sowing seeds for increasing multicultural strife.

In a stunning revelation of the foreign links to the extremists in Syria, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered his military forces to evacuate up to 800 militants belonging to the so-called White Helmets. They are the propaganda merchants for Nusra Front and other al-Qaeda-linked terror organizations.

Netanyahu announced that the blatant intervention to rescue the jihadists in southwest Syria was made at the personal request of US President Donald Trump and the Canadian premier Justin Trudeau, “among others”.

Separately, there were reports of four senior jihadist commanders being given safe passage by Israeli forces out of Syria as the Syrian army closed in on the last-remaining militant strongholds around the southwest city of Daraa and Quneitra province.

Nor was it coincidental that the evacuation operations were accompanied by Israeli air strikes on Syrian government facilities in Hama province.

Damascus condemned the extraction of hundreds of jihadists by Israel and its Western allies as a “criminal operation” and further proof of the foreign sponsoring that has fomented the nearly eight-year war.

Of course, Netanyahu, Western governments and news media sought to portray the evacuation of the “White Helmets” as a “humanitarian gesture”. This was at the same time that Israeli warplanes and snipers were stepping up the killing medics and civilians in Gaza.

Britain’s newly appointed foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt described the Israeli “rescue” of “White Helmets” as “fantastic news”, saying that the militants were the “bravest of the brave”.

We won’t delay too much here on this fraud. The so-called first responders of the “White Helmets” are a CIA, MI6-backed propaganda outfit working hand-in-hand with the terrorist militia. Their fake videos of chemical weapons attacks and air strikes have been a key propaganda device aided and abetted by the Western news media to demonize the Syrian armed forces and its Russian ally.

The fictitious propaganda stunt alleging a chemical weapon attack in Douma on April 7 this year resulted in a barrage of air strikes by the US, Britain and France.

Created in 2013 by a British MI6 agent and former British army officer James Le Mesurier, the so-called White Helmets have been funded with hundreds of millions of dollars by the governments of the US, Britain and other NATO states.

There is abundant video evidence showing members of this fake rescue group participating in gruesome executions by the al Qaeda-aligned militants with whom they associate. One such video shows an execution of a Syrian army soldier in Daraa, the city from where the latest evacuation of jihadists by Israel took place. Daraa is also, by the way, mendaciously referred to in the Western media as the “cradle of the revolution” or the “birthplace of the uprising” against President Assad’s government back in March 2011. The only thing that Daraa was a birthplace of was the US-led foreign covert war for regime change in Syria.

Now here’s a curious thing about the latest salvaging of terror assets in Syria. The United States and Israel are not taking any of the 800 militants for resettlement. Independent investigative journalist Vanessa Beeley, who has done much to expose the real macabre nature of the White Helmets and their terror links, says that both the US and Israeli no doubt realize that by taking in such “war refugees” they are inviting terrorists into their own societies.

Which makes you wonder why Britain, Germany and Canada are stepping up to the plate to offer the 800 White Helmets a home?

The case of Germany is particularly odd. Interior minister Horst Seehofer has personally authorized the resettlement of White Helmets spirited out of Syria by Israel. This is the same Seehofer who has mounted such a strong challenge to Chancellor Angela Merkel’s “open door” policy towards immigrants.

What we are witnessing is a suicidal ignorance by Western governments to take in these cadres of White Helmets. Perhaps Seehofer and other government ministers like Britain’s Jeremy Hunt are simply woefully misinformed. But surely the state security agencies of their respective countries know all too well the criminal, psychotic nature of the people whom they are allowing into their societies.

Such a callous disregard for public safety is not unprecedented. In his well-researched book, My Fight For Syrian Freedom, Irish peace activist Dr Declan Hayes details numerous cases of how jihadist assets were knowingly cultivated by British and French state security services for the purpose of waging the covert war for regime change in Syria and Libya. These assets have been allowed to return to Britain and France under the cover of being “refugees”, with the security services turning a blind eye to their true identity.

The nefarious relationship has resulted in these terror assets committing atrocities in Europe. For example, as Hayes points out, the Manchester concert bomb attack that killed 22 people in May last year was carried out by operatives belonging to a Libyan jihad cell that MI5 and MI6 had previously overseen for their objective of prosecuting the regime-change war in Libya against Muammar Gaddafi.

Similar murky connections between jihadists “blooded in Syria” and state secret services have been have uncovered in terror attacks in France and Belgium. It is not clear if these terror assets go rogue or whether they are being used by British, French and other military intelligence as a deliberate provocation in order to promote tighter national security laws and greater surveillance powers over their citizens.

Declan Hayes reckons that the problem of Western-sponsored terrorists returning to Britain and other European countries under the cover of claiming to be “war refugees” is much greater than Western governments or their media are admitting.

Hayes says that in his experience of visiting Syria many times during the war, most families loyal to the government were adamantly defiant about staying in the country and defending their communities. He reckons that there is a legitimate concern that many of the refugees fleeing from formerly militant-held cities like Aleppo and Daraa are jihadists and their families.

This view supports the right of some European governments to be wary about taking in large numbers of refugees from Syria and other war-torn countries. There is a case for rigorous vetting, but such a case is often emotionally blackmailed by naive media commentary as being “heartless” or “racist”.

There is no doubt that Western government agencies have fomented terrorist groups in Syria and elsewhere to do their dirty work for destabilizing target governments.

Now that the war in Syria is all but over with the Syrian army, backed by Russia, Iran and Hezbollah, rooting out the last jihadist remnants, we are seeing Western states taking in their terror assets. Maybe as a desperate intervention to stop them from revealing the dirty secrets of Western government collusion.

The repatriation of the White Helmets terrorist propagandists to the UK, Germany and Canada is a classic illustration.

Western authorities are playing with fire. Not only are they running the risk of public safety from future terrorist incidents. They are also stoking the flames of xenophobia, racism and culture wars against many innocent refugees who have been given shelter in Western countries.
