Tehran, IRNA – About 80 Palestinian women taken captive in the Zionist regime of Israel’s Damon prison are in bad and poor health conditions while also suffering from torture, hunger, and aggressive behavior from security forces.
Most of the captives are from Gaza, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement released by Arabi 21 network on Sunday.
According to the club, an 82-year-old woman and a pregnant one are also among the captives who are treated with cruelty.
When some lawyers entered the Zionist prison and held talks with the Palestinian women arrested by the regime forces, they found bad conditions in the jails and violations of the rights of the women there.
The club has called on the international human rights bodies to compel the Zionist regime to cease the crimes.
The number of Palestinians kept in the Zionist jails has passed 7,800.
