Iran calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza, condemns Israeli aggression

TEHRAN- The top Iranian diplomat on Saturday called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and condemned the Israeli regime's ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian made the remarks during a meeting with former Iranian Parliament representatives Ruhollah Izadkhah and Mahmoud Nabavian. 

During the meeting, the senior diplomat discussed various domestic and foreign issues, including the situation in Gaza and the rights of Iranian families living in Europe.

The senior diplomat emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza to prevent further bloodshed and suffering among the Palestinian people.

Izadkhah raised the issue of Iranian families living in Europe and their right to retain their children. He urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to pursue the matter and ensure that the families' rights are protected.
 
Amir Abdollahian thanked Izadkhah for his view and stressed the importance of continued consultation and consensus on this issue.

During the meeting, Nabavian expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' stance on the Gaza issue.
 
In the end, Amir Abdollahian reiterated Iran's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just struggle for self-determination.
