Iranian junior taekwondokas are the world champs

In the 5th round of the Sofia 2022 Taekwondo Junior World Championships, the Iranian girls' team won the championship title.

Snatching 4 gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal, the Iranian girls' team stood first in the world's junior taekwondo competitions.

Baran Jamal Livani, Saina Alipour, Parnian Nouri, and Hana Zarrinkamar, won the gold medals, Parnian Saki won the silver medal, and Fatemeh Bagherzadeh won the bronze medal.

Earlier, the Iranian women's taekwondo team also won the championship title for the first time in the 2022 Asian Taekwondo Championships.

The 2022 Asian Taekwondo Championships were the 25th edition of the Asian Taekwondo Championships and were held from 24 to 27 June 2021 in Hoban Gymnasium, Chuncheon, South Korea.

Meanwhile, a Jordanian female athletes on Sunday refused to face an Israeli opponent in the Taekwondo Championships in Bulgaria.

According to Palestinian media, a Jordanian woman taekwondoka refused to face an Israeli opponent in the Taekwondo Championships in Bulgaria.

The Jordanian taekwondoka withdrew from competing with an Israeli opponent to win a bronze medal in a sign of opposition to the normalization of relations with the occupying regime.

Two months ago, another Jordanian athlete avoided facing an Israeli opponent in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and in opposition to the normalization of relations with the occupying regime.
