TEHRAN, (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Tuesday said that trying to solve crisis in Ukraine is the main purpose of his visit to the Russian capital of Moscow.
The main purpose of the trip to Moscow is to try to solve the crisis in Ukraine based on the request made from the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said, adding that some Western parties want Tehran to play an active role in this regard.
Pursuing bilateral relations between Iran and Russia as well as the issue of Afghanistan are also the other purpose of Moscow visit, Amir-Abdollahian added.
