These days we are observing the 32nd anniversary of the heroic Mersad Operations of the defenders of Iran’s soil, who in 1988 destroyed a well-planned invasion of the Islamic Republic by heavily-armed hypocrites (Munafeqin) with the full backing of the Great Satan (the US), and air and logistic support provided by the repressive Ba’th minority regime of Baghdad, following Tehran’s acceptance of UN Security Council Resolution 598 for end of the 8-year imposed war.
"Mersad” is a Qur’anic term which could be roughly translated as "ambush” and it refers to the eternal inferno, that is, hell, the terrible destination of all those disbelievers who rebel against God’s Commandments, as is evident by the above-quoted Ayahs of the Heavenly Scripture.
We need not to go into details of the brilliant tactics used by Iran’s armed forces – both the regular army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) – in allowing the dastardly MKO fighters to venture deep into Iranian territory before pouncing upon them in a pincer attack that dispatched to the bowels of hell some 5,000 of the murderous hypocrites, who since their intrusion from Iraq’s borders had been committing every known crime against Iranian villagers.
It was indeed a death blow to the traitors who were openly siding with Saddam against their own homeland and whose hands were tainted with the blood of at least 12,000 Iranians of all walks of life, including officials, such as Chief Justice Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hussaini Beheshti, President Mohammad Ali Rajai, Prime Minister Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Javad Bahonar, Friday Prayer Leaders – Ayatollah Asadollah Madani, Ayatollah Abdul-Hussain Dastghaib, Ayatollah Ashrafi Isfahani, etc. – as well ministers and people’s representatives to the Legislature (Majlis).
The US, however, kept this cowardly clique on life-support in Baghdad and allowed Saddam to use these Godless elements to slaughter members of Iraq’s Shi’a Muslim majority and desecrate the holy shrines of Najaf and Karbala during the 1991 uprising against Ba’thist rule.
Then, following the formal occupation of Iraq by the US, when contrary to American expectations, the Iraqi people inspired by Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani formed an elected government Washington transferred these traitors to Albania, since the people of Iraq intensely hated these mercenaries and intended to avenge the death of their compatriots.
The West is fully aware that these hellish hypocrites have no future, but certain European regimes, such as France, on the misconstrued notion of harming the Islamic Republic, have provided asylum to these terrorists, who are actively backed by the US propaganda horns and receive millions of dollars of aid from reactionary Arab regimes, especially Saudi Arabia.
The existence of these cultish criminals in Europe is against international laws in view of the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran doesn’t provide shelter to any lawless elements from France, Britain, Germany, Sweden, or any other western country.
The Islamic Republic, may not approve of the unjust political systems governing the US and other western countries where people are grossly discriminated against as is evident by the regular mass protests – for instance in the US and France – but it does not have any plans to overthrow these regimes through terrorist elements.
These facts warrant the American and European governments to respect diplomacy, and to clamp down on the anti-Iranian activities of these traitors and hypocrites whose hands are dipped in the blood of the innocent Iranian masses.
We have full confidence in Divine Justice and believe that eventually the MKO will sooner or later fall into the abyss of hell to suffer the deserving painful punishments like that described by the holy Qur’an, however, for the sake of peace and healthy international relations, we demand that this criminal clique be handed over to us, and the hundreds of hostages being held by them be freed.
