Zionist Regime Main Threat to Mideast Security: Hezbollah

BEIRUT (Kayhan Intl.) – The secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement says the Zionist regime is the biggest threat to peace and security in the Middle East, and has warned against any plots by the occupying regime.
"The principal threat nowadays in our region is the existence of the occupying Zionist regime,” Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised speech broadcast live on the local Arabic-language al-Manar television network from the Lebanese capital Beirut.
"If one wants to confront the Israeli enemy, they must know the history of Palestine. We must know who these invaders are, where they came from, and what their goals, strengths and weaknesses are,” he added.
Nasrallah denounced attempts by a number of Arab states to normalize full diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime, stating that authorities in such countries have accepted subservient roles in the face of their U.S. counterparts.
"The normalization agreements and the blockade are all means of pressures to force the Palestinian nation into surrendering all their rights,” he said.
The Hezbollah chief also noted that the United States was established through mass murder of Native Americans, dismissing reliance on the U.S. administration to reclaim rights from the Zionist regime as "pointless” because they both have the same terrorist nature.
"Today, the United States represents the toughest challenge to world nations and the greatest threat to international peace and security. The U.S. is a racist and savage state, which has been established on unjust foundations and racial discrimination. It hides behind fake news as well as fraudulent and misleading policies,” Nasrallah highlighted.
Meanwhile, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has censured the deal between the UAE and the occupying regime, describing the agreement as a "treacherous stab in the back of the Palestinian nation.”
"The UAE-Israel deal went against the grain of tradition besides the Arab and Muslim consensus. It is a treacherous stab in the back of Palestinian people,” Ismail Haniyeh said in an exclusive interview with Turkey’s Arabic-language TRT Arabi television news network.
Haniyeh then called on the UAE authorities to reverse their decision, stressing that three illusions have pushed Arab leaders to seek normalization with the regime.
"The first illusion is that they think Muslim nations are in a state of defeat, and view Israel as victorious. The fact, however, is that such nations have not been defeated and that the Palestinian people have not stopped their struggle since the occupation of Palestinian lands,” Haniyeh noted.
The senior Palestinian official added that the second illusion is that some rulers believe their political legitimacy is achieved through foreign support rather than their own people’s backing, and that US support can only be achieved through establishment of relations with the Israeli regime.
"The third illusion is that some believe that Israel seeks peace and coexistence with the peoples of the [Middle East] region, but it is in fact an occupying regime founded on brutality and violence,” Haniyeh pointed out.
The leader of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement roundly denounced attempts by a number of Arab states to establish full diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime, saying such countries are complicit in the occupying regime’s crimes against the Palestinian nation.
"The Arab regimes supporting the Zionist regime are indeed partners in crimes against Palestinians,” Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said in a televised speech broadcast live from the capital, Sana’a.
He also censured efforts by certain Arab states to portray a good image of the Zionist regime, emphasizing that such countries are actually turning a blind eye to facts, and telling lies in a bid to justify their normalization of ties with the regime.
"The Zionist regime was created through stealing Palestinian land and killing innocent people. Israel is the worst enemy of the Muslim world, and has been sinister, destructive and illegal ever since its creation,” Houthi pointed out.
