Christchurch shooting and the normalization of anti-Muslim terrorism

The real forces responsible for the destruction of many Muslim-majority countries and the current chaos present in many Western countries are not generated by civilian populations or religions but instead by the global oligarchy that engineers and profits from this chaos.

These were the remarks of Chile-based American journalist Whitney Webb in her article for MintPress, titled: “Christchurch Shooting and the Normalization of Anti-Muslim Terrorism”.

What is without question the worst mass terrorist shooting in New Zealand’s history took place on Friday, March 15 when shooters, 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant among them, opened fire at two Christchurch mosques. Four, including Tarrant, have been arrested for the heinous act, which claimed at least 50 innocent lives. Tarrant was responsible for killing more than 40 victims, among them several children, in a rampage he live-streamed on Facebook, sending chills throughout the Muslim community, particularly Muslims living in Western countries.

Tarrant’s motives and ideology, laid bare in a 74-page manifesto, show a concern over the fertility rates of non-white groups as well as the immigration of non-whites to countries like New Zealand and Australia, which he likened to an “invasion” that threatened the white majority in those countries. However, Tarrant — in his ignorance — failed to grasp that many of the Muslim immigrants he targeted had come to New Zealand after fleeing Western-backed invasions, occupations, or persecution in their home countries.

Notable among Tarrant’s views is the fact that he is a clear ethno-chauvinist, promoting his view that different ethnic groups must be kept “separate, unique, undiluted in unrestrained in cultural or ethnic expression and autonomy.” Tarrant claimed that he targetted Muslim immigrants that chose “to invade our lands, live on our soil and replace our people.”

He also stated that he chose to target Muslims because “Islamic nations, in particular, have high birth rates, regardless of race or ethnicity” and to satiate “a want for revenge against Islam for the alleged 1,300 years of war and devastation that it has brought upon the people of the West and other peoples of the world.”

Tarrant the terrorist’s views are remarkably similar to those of Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, which is unsurprising given that Tarrant named him as an inspiration for the shooting.

Though many — in the hours after the shooting — have sought to place blame and point fingers at notable demagogues like US President Donald Trump or anti-Muslim ultra-right figures like Laura Loomer and Jacob Wohl, it is important to place Tarrant’s motivations in context.

Indeed, while Trump’s rise to political power has brought Islamophobic rhetoric into the public sphere in an undeniable way, it is a symptom of a much broader effort aimed at propagandizing the people of the United States and other Western countries to support wars in and military occupations of Muslim-majority countries. This manufactured Islamophobia, largely a product of Western governments and a compliant mass media, has sought to vilify all Muslims by maligning the religion itself as terrorism, in order to justify the plunder of their countries and deflect attention from their suffering.

It is a classic “divide and conquer” scam aimed at keeping Westerners divided from Muslims in their own countries and abroad. The horrific shooting in Christchurch is a testament to its unfortunate success and pervasiveness, as well as a potent reminder that it must be stopped. Indeed, this manufactured Islamophobia has made it so that Muslims in their home countries are in danger of dying from Western-backed wars and, if they flee to the “safer” West, they have targets on their backs painted by the very war propaganda used to justify Western military adventurism in Muslim-majority nations.

The question is: Islam, the media and “Forever Wars”: Who’s the “real” terrorist?

Since September 11th, 2001 and the advent of the so-called “War on Terror,” mass media reporting increasingly began to conflate Muslims and Muslim-majority nations with war, terrorism and violence in general. Indeed, 9 out of 10 mainstream news reports on Muslims, Islam, and Islamic organizations are related to violence and Muslims who are named on mainstream media are all-too-frequently warlords or terrorist leaders.

This near-constant association of Islam and violence has created the false perception that the religion of Islam, by its very nature, is violent and that Muslims too must then be violent and thus dangerous. This media-driven association has had very real and troubling consequences. For instance, a 2010 study by the University of Exeter found “empirical evidence to demonstrate that assailants of Muslims are invariably motivated by a negative view of Muslims they have acquired from either mainstream or extremist nationalist reports or commentaries in the media.” In other words, Islamophobic media reports are directly related to hate crimes targeting Muslims.

This is no accident, as such biased reporting on Muslim-majority nations also began as Western-backed wars in countries like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan sought to put these countries’ natural resources, namely their oil and mineral wealth, into the hands of American corporations. It should be no surprise then that top funders of media outlets that have routinely promoted Islamophobic narratives are also those who have profited considerably from the “War on Terror” and Western-backed regime-change wars in other countries.

This concerted effort to vilify Muslims has had the potent effect, likely by design, of reducing empathy among Westerners for the largely Muslim victims of Western military adventurism in Muslim-majority countries.

Indeed, while mainstream news outlets often trumpet the imminent dangers Americans face from what is alleged as terror by Muslims, the death toll of innocent people — most of them Muslim — that have been killed by the US-led “War on Terror” is several orders of magnitude greater than the number of Americans who have died from all terror attacks over that same period.

For instance, from 2001 to 2013, an estimated 3,380 Americans died from domestic and foreign terrorism, as well as acts of domestic terrorism carried out by white nationalists and supremacists. Most of the mass-killers were not Muslim.

By comparison, an estimated 8 million innocent people in Muslim-majority nations died as a result of US policies and wars in West Asia, and North Africa from 2001 to 2015. Yet, the magnitude of this loss of life of these “unworthy victims” is minimized by media and government silence, and the creation of a climate of Islamophobia in the West has only served to deepen the ease with which mass murder is accepted by the aggressor countries’ populations.

Beyond the staggering disparity in the death tolls caused by terror groups and Western-backed imperialist wars is the fact that many of these very Western governments that purport to be so concerned with “radical Islamic terror” have often created and funded the most notorious terror groups of all. Indeed, the US regime helped to create al-Qaeda and continues to protect its Syrian branch — Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham — in Syria’s Idlib province to this day. In addition, the CIA was just recently revealed to be helping the Islamic State regroup in Syrian refugee camps. Furthermore, the US has long turned a blind eye to the funding of terror groups by allied states like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The role of Western money, arms and policy in the creation and maintenance of radical Wahhabi terrorist groups is often entirely ignored by Western media portrayals of Muslim-majority nations, thereby creating a false image that such violence is endemic to these nations when, in fact, it is often imported state-sponsored terror.

These nuances of the situation are rarely heard in the narratives parroted out on mainstream media and those who regularly consume mainstream news sources are more likely than not to support those narratives. For that reason, it is easy to see how someone like Donald Trump — who is said to watch television for eight hours every day, much of it Fox News — has espoused the views that he has. Thanks to the manufacturing of Islamophobia of mainstream media, racist policies like the so-called “Muslim ban” have found wide support, as this false narrative has conflated Islam with violence so often that many have come to believe that only by banning Islam can violence and terrorism in the U.S. be reduced.

However, the recent shooting in Christchurch, as well as the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting and other recent acts of domestic terrorism, should alert us to the fact that it is the hate manufactured by this false narrative that is itself endangering American lives while also covering up the mass murder that has been perpetrated by the US and other governments around the world for decades.

The illegal Zionist regime is playing a leading role in stoking ethno-chauvinism. While the realities of post-9/11.2001 America, as well as the rise in visibility of white ethno-chauvinism during the Trump Era, have done much to normalize attacks on immigrants, the country that has done the most to normalize anti-Muslim terrorism over this same time frame has been the Zionist regime called Israel.

Israel, from its founding days, has long been steeped in neocolonialist ideology that is remarkably similar to the ideological basis behind other settler states like the United States, Australia and New Zealand. This system of beliefs holds that the native inhabitants of the land — whether the Palestinians, the Sioux or the Maori — are “primitive” and incompetent and that the land would have remained “wild” and undeveloped were it not for the “fortunate” appearance of European settlers. As MintPress noted in a previous report on the subject, such narratives cast these settlers as both superior and normal while the natives become inferior and abnormal, thus obfuscating the settler’s status as foreigner and conqueror.

In Israel’s case, this ideology has promoted the idea that all Arabs are “sons of the desert” while the desert simultaneously represents a barbaric obstacle to “progress” and development. However, the Zionist regime, under the lengthy tenure of current Zionist Premier Benjamin Netanyahu, has seen these long-standing and somewhat hidden underpinnings of the Zionist state burst out into the open.

The result has been the overt expression of ethnon-chauvinism in such a way that Israel has become an inspiration to white nationalists in the United States, like Richard Spencer, and far-right ethno-fascist leaders like Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro and India’s Narendra Modi. The inspiration has been mutual, according to reports and testimonials published by Jewish newspaper The Forward.

For years, through its military occupation of Palestine, the Zionist has sought to paint all Palestinians, including children, as “terrorists” or “terrorist sympathizers.” Take, for example, current Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, who wrote in 2014, “This is a war between two people. Who is the enemy? The Palestinian people …”

A more recent example came from former War Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who asserted just last year that “no innocent people” live in the Gaza Strip and that every inhabitant in the enclave is somehow connected to Hamas, even though nearly half of Gaza’s population are children and teenagers. Such rhetoric has become par for the course and numerous examples show that Shaked and Lieberman’s views are increasingly accepted and “normal” in today’s Israel.

Yet, the clearest indication of anti-Muslim terror’s normalization in Israel is the recent rise of Otzma Yehudit, or the “Jewish Power” Party. This party, founded by devotees of radical American-born Rabbi Meir Kahane, has now merged — at Netanyahu’s urging — with the Jewish Home Party and stands to become part of Israel’s ruling coalition if Netanyahu manages to win in the country’s upcoming elections.

In the office of Itamar Ben Gvir, one of Otzma Yehudit’s leaders, is a framed picture of Baruch Goldstein. In an act that bears a striking similarity to the events in Christchurch, Goldstein — a long-time devotee of Kahane — entered a mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron in 1994 and opened fire, killing 29 and injuring more than 125 worshippers. After the act, Kahane’s Kach party — the predecessor of Otzma Yehudit — was labeled a terrorist organization by the United States and Israel.

Despite official condemnation, Goldstein’s atrocious act has been the subject of praise and inspiration for subsequent extremists who, under Netanyahu’s government, have become increasingly normalized. Goldstein’s gravestone reads “He gave his life for the people of Israel, its Torah and land” and continues to be used as a site of pilgrimage and homage by the very extremists that Netanyahu is openly courting for political gain.

While the followers of Kahane are making a comeback in Israel, several notable Arab political parties have been banned from participating Israel’s upcoming elections, with some being accused of “supporting terrorism” owing to their opposition to Israel’s decades-long military occupation of Palestine. Yet, by elevating clear terror supporters among the ranks of the Jewish Power Party, it has become increasingly clear that openly supporting and advocating anti-Muslim terrorism is no bar to legitimacy and political power in today’s Israel.

No ‘clash of civilizations,’ only manipulation and exploitation of differences. The tragic and barbaric shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand is yet another horrific and glaring reminder that the “divide and conquer” war propaganda that has sought to promote the so-called “clash of civilizations” between Christianity and Islam, West and East, has not only been monstrously effective but continues to be monstrously destructive to people on both sides.

However, the media’s manufacture of Islamophobia, in seeking to reduce empathy for Muslim suffering and reduce Western empathy for innocent Muslim civilians, has increasingly placed targets on the back of Muslims everywhere — in the West and the East — making it increasingly difficult for practitioners of the Islamic faith to feel safe regardless of where they live.

With most Muslim-majority countries now killing fields in Western-backed wars, ruled by oppressive, Western-backed dictatorships, or under threat of Western-backed regime change, even those Muslims who have sought a safer, quieter life in the “civilized” West have now found themselves targets thanks to the very war propaganda used to justify the destruction of their home countries.

While the murderous terrorist Tarrant had stated that he hoped his horrific crime would help stoke “civil war” in Western countries, this tragedy should and must serve as a wake up call for people everywhere that the real forces responsible for the destruction of many Muslim-majority countries and the current chaos present in many Western countries are not generated by civilian populations or religions but instead by the global oligarchy that engineers and profits from this chaos. These oligarchs loot from the people of the West just as they do from the people of the East and it is time to recognize that they are the real threats to a more peaceful world — not regular people praying, whether it be in a church, a synagogue or a mosque.

The roots of the Christchurch massacre

The world was shocked on Friday on hearing and seeing the macabre act of anti-Islamic terrorism in New Zealand where a racist killer cold-bloodedly massacred worshippers in the an-Noor Mosque in the city of Christchurch, gunning to death some 50 Muslims and injuring scores of others, of whom some in critical condition.

Now we have an opinion column by American Muslim Wajahat Ali, titled: “The roots of the Christchurch massacre”.

All those who have helped to spread the worldwide myth that Muslims are a threat have blood on their hands.

For Muslims, Friday Prayer is like Sunday Mass for Christians. It’s the day of community prayer. We travel to our local mosques, our religious sanctuary. Our families gather in the early afternoon to pray as a community. Kids run through the halls as the imam recites the Quran in Arabic. We eat together and mingle outside.

This week, as those of us in the United States attended Friday Prayer, the Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand, are preparing for funerals.

People around the world are praying for the dead in Christchurch after terrorist attacks at two mosques. The authorities say a 28-year-old Australian, named Brenton Harrison Tarrant, walked into two mosques with assault rifles and killed at least 49 people. New Zealand’s prime minister, Jacinda Ardern, called it “an extraordinary and unprecedented act of violence.”

Thoughts and prayers are not enough. These attacks are the latest manifestation of a growing and globalized ideology of white nationalism that must be addressed at its source — which includes the mainstream politicians and media personalities who nurture, promote and excuse it.

If the gunman’s 74-page manifesto and social media posts are to be believed, he was inspired by a thriving online ideological structure that recruits and radicalizes mostly men to save “Western civilization” from a foreign “invasion.”

He even cited the name of the US president, Donald Trump, as an inspiration for his anti-Islamic act of cold-blooded terrorism.

We’ve seen this before. The gunman’s justifications for his act of terrorism were similar to those in the 1,500-page manifesto that the Norwegian Anders Breivik posted before he killed 77 people in 2011. Breivik wanted to punish Europe for its multiculturalism and welcome of Muslim immigrants. His manifesto and attacks are said to have inspired the white nationalist Christopher Hasson, who was recently arrested on charges of stockpiling weapons with the desire to commit mass murder, especially against Muslims.

If the idea that Muslims are a threat sounds familiar, it’s in part because it was used by President Trump to argue for a wall to protect the US from a “caravan” of Central American migrants seeking asylum. He asserted that “Middle Easterners” were in the caravan, a claim he admitted he could not back up. During a summer trip to England, Trump warned that Britain was losing its “culture” and that immigration had “changed the fabric of Europe — and unless you act very quickly, it’s never going to be what it was.”

Arguing for his travel ban aimed at mostly Muslim countries, Trump said, “I think Islam hates us.” He lied about seeing Muslims celebrate the September 11, 2001 incidents in New York – where 110-storey high twin towers of the World Trade Center collapsed.

Trump retweeted a fringe anti-Muslim group’s fake videos of Muslim refugees committing violence. No wonder the killer Tarrant’s Christchurch manifesto of praised Trump as “as a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.”

It’s clear that the dangers of white nationalism aren’t limited to the United States. This attack is a reminder that this dangerous ideology also threatens immigrant communities worldwide, and that it’s fueled by leaders around the world.

Australia, where the gunman is said to be from, has plenty of its own anti-Muslim, xenophobic rhetoric.

In 2015, a movement called Reclaim Australia organized protests against the “enforcing of Shari’ah law in Australia” and “the teaching of Islam in government schools.” The Conversation reported that placards displayed by the group at a rally alleged “Islam is an enemy of the West.” A key policy goal of the far-right political party Australian Liberty Alliance is to “stop the Islamization of Australia.”

While Australia’s prime minister, Scott Morrison, described the suspect as “an extremist, right-wing, violent terrorist,” an Australian senator, Fraser Anning, responded to the Christchurch attack by blaming “the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.”

It seems the senator shares similar sentiments with mass murderers.

In his manifesto, the gunman, who referred to himself as a “regular white man,” wrote that he was carrying out the attack to “directly reduce immigration rates to European lands by intimidating and physically removing the invaders themselves.”

The manifesto reveals an obsession with white supremacy, discussing the Battle of Vienna in 1683, which is glorified by white nationalists and Breivik as the critical moment when Europe staved off the Ottoman Empire’s advance and protected itself from Islam. Text scrawled on the gunman’s weapons appears to refer to military battles such as the 1189 Siege of Acre, a victory for the Christian Crusaders seeking to capture Jerusalem (Bayt al-Moqaddas) from Muslims. He mentioned Alexandre Bissonnette, who shot and killed six people in a Quebec mosque in 2017 and was a known white nationalist with anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim resentment.

Tarrant the murderous terrorist’s ideas — and their sources and supporters — were familiar to me. As a researcher for the Center for American Progress Action Fund’s 2011 investigation “Fear Inc.: The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America,” I connected fringe anti-Muslim conspiracies — such as the made-up threat of Shariah law in America — to the funding sources, think tanks, media personalities, grass-roots groups and politicians who created and promoted them.

These entities have worked together to reinforce the message that Muslims Americans are inherently radical and represent a “demographic time bomb” that will overtake the white population. Breivik repeatedly cited these groups and people, many of them now closely linked to the Trump administration. Although they should not be blamed for Breivik’s violence, Marc Sageman, a former C.I.A. officer and a consultant on terrorism, said Breivik nonetheless emerges from the same ideological network.

Among white nationalists’ major motivators is “the great replacement” conspiracy theory. They fear that Jews, blacks and Muslims will replace white people and eventually subordinate them. Jews are often viewed as the diabolical head of the cabal, the nerve center, who use their infinite wealth and power to reduce and weaken the white man.

In October, Robert Bowers walked into the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh and killed 11 Jewish worshipers. He posted on the right-wing social network Gab that the Jewish refugee resettlement agency HIAS “likes to bring invaders in that kill our people” and “I can’t sit by and watch my people get slaughtered.” He also re-shared a post about punishing “filthy evil Jews” for bringing “filthy evil Muslims into the country.” This echoed the conspiracy theory — a lie that was promoted by President Trump and other prominent conservatives.

Representative Steve King, an Iowa Republican, recently asked, “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive? He once tweeted, “We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies,” referring to the children of Latino immigrants. Steve Bannon, President Trump’s former chief adviser and former head of Breitbart News, has recommended the racist, dystopian novel “Camp of the Saints,” in which brown immigrants invade and take over France.

While news of the New Zealand shooting was breaking, President Trump tweeted an offensive link — which he has since deleted — to the home page of Breitbart News, a site that has regularly published anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant conspiracy theories.

Upon learning about the massacre in Christchurch, a Muslim friend messaged me, “How will we keep our kids safe?”

I didn’t have a good answer. But I know the threat we’re facing isn’t just individual terrorists. It’s the global ideology of white nationalism and white supremacy. We have to take it seriously, and call out politicians, academics and media personalities who give it a platform under the guise exploring of both sides, fostering debate or avoiding political correctness.

The cost is too great. Just look to Christchurch and the 49 worshipers who should have returned home to their families and community instead of attending their last prayer.

Western Media’s Hypocrisy vis-à-vis Terrorism and Terrorists

While conscientious people the world over, are still reeling from the shock of the ghastly video-game-like depiction of last Friday’s mass massacre of 49 Muslim worshippers in a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, by a white racist terrorist trying to justify his criminal action as campaign against what he called "invaders”, another act of terrorism occurred on the other side of the world in Britain when in east London a Muslim was brutally hit on his head with a hammer on late Friday by an ultra-rightist.

Though the British police which arrived late on the scene after the attackers had fled, claims of no connection between these two terrorist attacks, the mainstream western media, which is quick to label acts of violence by so-called Muslims as ‘Islamic or jihadi terrorism’, has again resorted to hypocrisy by refraining to use word "terrorist” for both the Christchurch and London attacks on Muslims – let alone the words "Christian or Crusader terrorism”.  

Moreover, the white supremacists, inspired by the criminal KKK gangs and of late by the likes of such demagogues as the racist US president, Donald Trump –the grandson of a German immigrant who opposes the right of the Amerindians of Mexico to migrate north from Mexico – claim that Muslims and coloured migrants have occupied their homelands.

It is an absurd claim, in view of the fact that the Americas are still under the occupation of the descendants of the white-skinned invaders from Europe, whose genocidal policies almost wiped out the native Amerindians, and have reduced to modern day slavery the black-skinned people whose ancestors were kidnapped from Africa and forced to work on plantations in the New World.

So, who are the real occupiers? Are the whites who rule Australia and New Zealand the original inhabitants of these lands, or are occupiers and descendants of invaders who slaughtered the Aborigines and the Maoris?

It is interesting to note that today March 17 happens to be the 159th anniversary of the First Taranaki War that occurred in New Zealand between the British invaders and the indigenous Maori people. It was a major phase of the wars waged by the uninvited white people of Europe over the sovereignty of North Island and lasted for a year. 

It was sparked by a dispute between the British occupiers and Maori landowners over sale of a property at Waitara, and spread throughout the region. The British brought more than 3,500 troops from Australia, as well as volunteer forces to massacre the original inhabitants of New Zealand. 

In view of these undeniable facts, neither the Muslims living in the Americas, Australia and New Zealand could be called uninvited immigrants nor the people of yellow, brown, and black skin, could be called invaders.

The real terrorists and racists are the white supremacists and the Zionists, as well as Christian Zionists, along with their stooges the Takfiris, Daesh, al-Qa’eda, Wahhabis and so on, who have no connection to Islam, and are the creation of the imperialists. 

Thus, the recent wave of anti-Muslim terrorism, whether in New Zealand or in Britain, which some Arab regimes have been quick to condemn, are in fact extension of their own state terrorism in Yemen, Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Palestine – where racist criminals like the Zionists (illegal migrants from eastern Europe) are indulging in genocide against the sons of the soil. 

Trump the Devilish Inspiration of Christchurch Terror Attacks on Muslims

Who is the actual evil mind behind Friday’s terrorist attacks that resulted in the martyrdom of 50 Muslim worshippers in the mosques of Christchurch in remote New Zealand, a country which hitherto had no apparent record of Islamophobia?

The answer is crystal clear. It is Donald Trump, the devil’s own misbegotten brat and the Public Enemy Number One of all humanity.

It is rather unfortunate that this criminal who has deprived a sizeable section of the Christian people of Venezuela of modern amenities by causing malfunction of the power grid through cyber terrorism, given free rein to rampant racism in the US against Hispanics and Afro-Americans, and imposed illegal economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to supplying lethal arms to the Zionists and the Saudis to kill the Palestinians and the Yemenis respectively, continues to be on the loose instead of being punished for his crimes against humanity.

If there had been justice in the US, and if this megalomaniac had been impeached and imprisoned at the first signs of his satanic symptoms, the world would have been spared on much turmoil, terrorism and bloodshed.

Since he has not yet been dragged to the dock, terrorists of all hue and colour are brazenly bragging that the inspiration behind their massacre of the innocent is, of course, Donald Trump.

This was evident when Brenton Tarrant, one of the principal killers of Muslims in the latest act of terrorism in New Zealand, has proudly said in his manifesto that he sees Trump as "symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.”

Tarrant, supposed to be an Australian racist criminal, broadcast live footage on Facebook of the attack on one mosque in Christchurch, mirroring the carnage played out in video games, after publishing a "manifesto” in which he denounced immigrants, calling them "invaders”.

The deadly shooting at the two mosques in New Zealand is definitely the result of spreading hatred towards immigrants and Muslims in the West, and ought to awaken the conscientious, whatever their ideological and religious tendencies.

Humanity is being faced with the hordes of Lucifer, and practical efforts are needed to confront these devils in human forms, beginning from the top, by starting procedures for kicking out Trump and his ilk, like the Zionist Benjamin Netanyahu, the organized killer of children. 

Mere condemnation of such macabre acts of terrorism is not enough, although we do appreciate the denunciation by governments, politicians, and ordinary people of such acts of terrorism.

As pointed out by observers, when incidents like this happen it is so easy to focus on the symptoms and look at this individual and how bad and horrible and nasty he is but the reality is that actually he is a product of the society which exists in the world we are living where there is hatred for immigrants, for people of black or yellow colour, for Hispanics and for Muslims in the West.
