The communique characterized the mass participation as a sign of Iran’s “political maturity, national unity and historical vigilance” in the face of what it called complex plots, mounting pressure and a comprehensive “hybrid war” by the country’s adversaries, particularly the United States and Israel and their allies. It said recent developments—including what it described as an overt attack and a 12-day imposed war against Iran and the “axis of resistance,” as well as “bitter events” linked to armed terrorist elements—had further exposed the “hostility and desperation” of Iran’s enemies, while demonstrating the resilience of Iran and its regional allies.
Participants declared their support for both “the soldiers of diplomacy and the soldiers of the (field),” stressing that under current sensitive conditions they back any dialogue and negotiations conducted within the framework of the principles of “dignity, wisdom and expediency.” The statement described diplomacy and military strength as “two wings of the country’s power,” adding that those active in both arenas are “children of the nation” and enjoy its full support. “Now is the time for synergy between the field and diplomacy,” it said.
The marchers reaffirmed their commitment to what they called the fundamental ideals of the Islamic Revolution—independence, freedom, justice, human dignity, opposition to global arrogance and the rule of Islamic values. They pledged to continue what they described as the revolution’s civilizational path and to safeguard national stability, security and cohesion amid complex regional and international conditions, reiterating their determination to defend the revolution’s achievements.
The statement also underscored the “unique position” of the doctrine of Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist) as a pillar of strategic leadership and national unity. “The Leader of Iran is the life of the Iranian nation,” the statement read, adding that any insult or affront to the Supreme Leader would be regarded as an attack on the nation’s identity, dignity and will, and would not be tolerated.
Participants emphasized the need to preserve unity and social solidarity in the face of what they described as the enemy’s hybrid, cognitive and media warfare, as well as their recent experience of a 12-day imposed war. They called national cohesion and the bond between the people and the Islamic system the country’s most important asset in confronting internal and external threats.
The statement expressed appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices of Iran’s armed forces, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Army, the Law Enforcement Command, the Basij volunteer forces and security and intelligence agencies. It said the country’s current security and stability are owed to the “conscious support of the nation,” the sacrifices of defenders of the homeland and the blood of fallen “martyrs.”
The communique strongly condemned the European Union’s stance blacklisting the IRGC as a terrorist organization, calling it contrary to international law, interventionist and aligned with what it described as efforts to promote “Iranophobia” and regional destabilization. It asserted that the IRGC is an official and legal institution born of the people’s will and a strategic pillar of national defense and counterterrorism efforts in the region.
Participants also denounced what they described as aggressive and destabilizing actions by Israel and the United States, accusing the two governments of being the main drivers of insecurity, wars and ongoing crises in the region. The statement called for accountability in global public opinion for alleged crimes against oppressed nations, particularly the Palestinian people and residents of Gaza, and said responsible bodies should pursue what it termed the U.S. government’s role in a “terrorist sedition” last month.
In conclusion, the statement called on the government, parliament and all executive bodies to enhance public participation in political, economic, cultural and social spheres, particularly in upcoming city and village council elections. It urged authorities to redouble efforts to serve the public, combat inflation and fight corruption in order to strengthen public trust and civic engagement.
