Quran and Islam as Guiding Lights for Iran's Independence and Dignity

:Cultural Attaché of Iran in Kabul

Seyyed Rouhollah Hosseini emphasized at the conference marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran that the Islamic Revolution was a movement aimed at restoring human dignity and rejecting subjugation.

The Iranian nation chose the path of independence and dignity inspired by the verses of the Holy Quran and the teachings of pure Islam.
In a report, during the commemoration of the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, various figures, including Alireza Baikdeli, the head of the Iranian embassy in Afghanistan, gathered to celebrate this significant event. The event took place in the Cultural Attaché's conference hall in Kabul, attended by Afghan government officials, scholars, and other political and cultural figures.

Seyyed Rouhollah Hosseini stated that it is heartening to commemorate this momentous occasion in Afghanistan. He noted that the Islamic Revolution of Iran in February 1979, with the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini and the sacrifices of the great Iranian nation, opened a new chapter in contemporary world history. This revolution was not merely a political change but a deep, popular movement rooted in faith, justice, independence, and human dignity.

Hosseini remarked that the revolution's core slogan, "Independence, Freedom, Islamic Republic," influenced not only Iran but also awakened consciences around the globe. After 47 years, despite various pressures, threats, sanctions, conspiracies, and schemes, Iran remains steadfast, vibrant, and committed to its principles and ideals. This resilience is rooted in the profound connection between the people and religious and Quranic values, national unity, and the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei.

He further added that the Islamic Revolution represented a movement for restoring human dignity and negating subjugation, with the Iranian nation choosing the pathways of independence and dignity based on Quranic teachings and the pure Islam of Prophet Muhammad.

Hosseini acknowledged that the journey toward independence and dignity comes at a cost but reiterated that faith in God is the greatest asset for nations against pressures and threats. In the course of the Islamic Revolution, patience, perseverance, and hope play essential roles.

Continuous Threats Over Four Decades

He pointed out the threats and pressures faced over the past four decades. The Islamic Republic of Iran has frequently encountered threats, sanctions, aggressions, and cowardly conspiracies from adversaries. This includes a 12-day imposed war by the Zionist regime against Iran, which blatantly violated international laws, revealing the true face of aggression and lawlessness of the ruling powers. These hostilities stem from their fear of Iran's strength and Islamic authority; yet, relying on faith and national unity, Iran has consistently emerged victorious from these challenges.
