TEHRAN -- Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani on Saturday lauded Iran’s missile forces for their precision and operational sophistication, citing an independent Israeli study that confirms Tehran’s growing military capabilities.

“Iran’s armed forces have excelled in the war against the Zionists. The book ‘In the Shadow of Fire,’ published by Israel’s Jewish National Security Foundation, provides an analysis of Israel’s air defense. It states that 45 missiles fired by Iran hit sensitive targets. This figure comes from official Israeli sources, not an Iranian claim,” Larijani wrote on social media.
Iranian defense officials have emphasized that these capabilities are the result of years of technological development and operational planning.
Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, Deputy Minister for Strategic Planning and Parliamentary Affairs and spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Defense, said the country’s military readiness and operational capacity have strengthened significantly following a 12-day war with the U.S.-Israeli coalition earlier this year.
“The enemy, despite 15 years of preparation to strike Iran, failed during the 12-day imposed war,” Talaei-Nik said. “If it dares to threaten again, it will face an even greater failure than before.”
He added that Iran’s enhanced offensive power, coupled with the heavy losses sustained by Israel, has increased Tehran’s strategic leverage in the region.
“The enemy suffered a severe blow in the 12-day war. It is improbable that it can again muster the resolve for a new aggression,” Talaei-Nik said.
Defense analysts note that Iran’s missile arsenal has evolved steadily, with improvements in guidance systems, warhead capability, and operational readiness. The ability to strike targets with precision, even in contested environments, underscores Tehran’s growing deterrence power and reinforces its role as a key regional military force.
