A senior Lebanese cleric stressed that the ongoing catastrophic situation in Gaza is an extension of the tragedy that happened in Karbala.
The Event of Karbala took place in 680 A.D. where Imam Hussein (AS), the third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) rose against the tyrant ruler of his time and was martyred together with 72 of his companions and family members in the Battle of Karbala.
The Lebanese cleric noted that only with the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance can this sinister cycle be destroyed.
Al-Saadi reiterated that those who martyred Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in Karbala are the same ones who are massacring the people of Gaza, southern Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and the axis of resistance today.
This Lebanese Sunni scholar stressed the popular support for the third Shia Imam and said,” We were supporters of Imam Hussein in the past and will be supporters of Gaza, dignity, and resistance in the future.”
Sheikh Al-Saadi emphasized: "Only the Islamic Republic of Iran and the axis of resistance can destroy this sinister and evil circle and preserve the dignity of the oppressed people."
