Taleghan to Mark 100th Birthday of Jalal Al-e-Ahmad

TEHRAN -- The “Commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jalal Al-e-Ahmad” under the title “One Century of Jalal” will be held in cooperation with the Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the House of Books and Literature of Iran and the Taleghan Governorate on Saturday.
Yaser Ahmadvand, the deputy of cultural affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Ali Ramezani, the CEO of Iran Book and Literature House, Hamed Mohaghegh, the vice president of poetry and fiction of Iran Book and Literature House, Golali Babaei, the scientific secretary of the 16th edition of the Jalal Al Ahmad Literary Award, and a group of cultural activists and officials of Taleghan city and Alborz province will attend the event.
The session will be held at 9:30 in Farhangsaray Jalal in Taleghan.
