TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned the latest massacre of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by the Tel Aviv regime, this time in the Jabalia camp, demanding the United Nations stop the killing machine of racist regime.
Nasser Kanaani slammed in the strongest terms the Zionist regime’s savage raid on the Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip, which left hundreds martyred and injured.
“The move added another black mark to the long list of war crimes perpetrated by the Zionist regime,” he stated.
Kanaani urged the international community, especially the United Nations and the Security Council, to immediately fulfill their international responsibilities and halt the racist Zionist regime’s killing machine.
At least 400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, were either killed or injured after Israeli airstrikes hit the camp amid the regime’s ongoing war against the besieged territory.
Iyad al-Bazum, spokesman for Gaza's interior ministry, said United States-made bombs had targeted residential homes during the blitz, adding that an entire residential complex had been destroyed in the attack.
“These buildings house hundreds of citizens. The occupation’s air force destroyed this district with six US-made bombs. It is the latest massacre caused by Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip,” he said, calling on the international community “to act immediately to stop Israel before it is too late.”
The Israeli attacks in Gaza and raids in the West Bank have so far killed nearly 9,000 Palestinians and left over 23,000 others wounded, according to the Palestinian ministry.
