Iran’s God-Oriented Policies Frustrates Satanic US Plots

By: Kayhan Int’l

It is now 42 years since the US through its agents had Iran’s president and prime minister assassinated together by a terrorist bomb blast on the heels of its equally dastardly mass murder of 72 leading officials, including the Chief Justice, within a year of the war it had imposed on the Islamic Republic through Saddam of the repressive Ba’th minority regime of Baghdad, whose forces were in occupation of large swathes of Iranian territory with the port city of Khorramshahr under their control and the refinery city of Abadan fully encircled.
Such a dire situation was enough for the collapse of government of any country, the disintegration of its armed forces, and the abject surrender of its people to the prime perpetrator of such an organized aggression on all fronts.
Nothing of this sort happened in Iran, thanks to the God-oriented leadership of the Father of the Islamic Revolution and the dedication of the Iranian masses to Islamic values and national aspirations, which inspired them to stage epic after epic to decisively defeat the plot of the ‘Great Satan’.
Imam Khomeini (RA), whose famous phrase “the US cannot do a damn thing” continues to reverberate loudly throughout Iran and the region, said it is the blood of martyrs which nurtures a nation.
He paid glowing tributes to Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini Beheshti and his companions martyred on June 28 by the MKO terrorists in Tehran at the headquarters of the Islamic Republic Party and to Mohammad Ali Rajai and Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Javad Bahonar martyred on August 30 at the office of the president, while calling on the combatants to carry on their defence at the warfronts and to the civilian officials to continue their selfless efforts for proper administration of the nation in order to thwart the plots of the terroristic enemies.
Unlike countries where the rulers rely on foreign powers and have no support from the people they rule, neither was any emergency declared in Iran nor were public rallies curtailed as the people staged massive funeral ceremonies on both the occasions for the martyrs of the two terrorist bomb blasts.
They then organized themselves to hold hugely participated polls in October 1981 to elect Tehran Friday Prayer Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as president – the person the US had failed to assassinate on 27th June 1981 through a bomb-rigged tape recorder that exploded at the Friday Prayer podium but except for permanent injury to the right hand could not take the life of the intended victim.
The “Living Martyr” as Ayatollah Khamenei is often called laid the groundwork for the smooth public-supported administration of the country during his two 4-year terms as the Chief Executive to transform Islamic Iran into a impenetrable bastion against the terrorism of the US and its agents, before being elected as Leader of the Islamic Revolution in June 1989, following the passing away of Imam Khomeini.
It is obvious the US is completely frustrated at the steady success of the Islamic Republic which this week held the 42nd “Government Week” to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of President Rajai and Prime Minister Bahonar, with incumbent President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi presenting a report to the Leader and to the nation on the spectacular achievements of the country in the face of the self-defeatist sanctions and plots of archenemy, the US.
At Wednesday’s televised meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution praising the progress of the country, rightly remarked to the bewilderment of the assassin-in-chief, the US, whose latest victim was Martyr Qasim Soleimani (January 2020): “The two key features that both Martyr Rajaei and Martyr Bahonar possessed were that they sought God’s satisfaction and they worked to serve the people.
“This fundamental goal overshadowed all their activities and the appointments they made. Therefore, the code words for all the governments of the Islamic system should be seeking God’s satisfaction and working to serve the people.”
