Iran's aid to Palestine stabilized resistance groups against Zionist regime

Ali Al-Azer Javi - Iraqi MP

Qodsna (Tehran) - Speaking with Qods News Agency on the occasion of International Quds Day, Ali Al-Azer Javi, a member of the Islamic Virtue Party in Iraq’s Parliament said that Quds Day played an important role in strengthening the foundations of the regional and Palestinian resistance and it keeps alive the rage of people against the Zionist.

“The designation of International Quds Day in the last Friday of Ramadan by Imam Khomeini caused an increase of the spirit of unity and solidarity among Muslims,” he added.

The Iraqi MP also stressed that the Zionist enemy and its Western allies seek to create suspicion among the Islamic Ummah on Iran to stop Iran’s support for Palestine.

Ali Al-Azer Javi further talked about Iran’s unlimited support for the Palestinian people, saying that “Iran’s support has stabilized resistance groups in Palestine. As Imam Khomeini described, Israel is like a cancerous tumor and it poses a great threat to millions of innocent people in the region.”

“Western plans for resolving Palestine-Israel conflict are only in favor of Zionists, and it aims to destroy Palestinians in the occupied territories. On the other hand, Iran’s proposal for holding a referendum by Palestinians is ignored by Western governments, because it is against their regional interests and could lead to destructive results for Israel and the United States,” the Iraqi official added.
