Hezbollah’s Growing International Influence Unnerves US, Israel

The current crisis in Lebanon is not the result of any stagnation of the country’s economy, or the continuous terroristic threats of the illegal Zionist regime, but temporary consequences of the cowardly economic terrorism of the US, which has miserably failed to curb the growing power and influence of the legendary anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah.
Washington thinks that its instigation of some anti-social elements or certain political groups which seem to be loyal to the US and former colonial power, France, to cause disturbances on the streets, would worsen the situation in Lebanon and restrict the role of Hezbollah at the national and regional levels.
To the horror of the US and Israel, however, Hezbollah has acquired greater maneuvering power, as is evident by the visit of its senior delegation to Russia and meeting in Moscow on Monday with the host country’s foreign minister and seasoned politician, Sergei Lavrov.
Mohammad Raad, the president of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, which is Hezbollah’s political wing in Lebanon’s elected parliament, was warmly welcomed by Lavrov and the two held talks on a variety of issues – including Israel’s acts of state terrorism in the region.
To quote Raad: "We discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as means to maintain stability and bolstering achievements secured in the field of counter-terrorism in both Syria and Lebanon.”
The visit and the talks were a decisive slap on the face of the Zionist regime, as could be evident by its propaganda which actually shows its acute fears of the power of Hezbollah rather than a warning to the popular Lebanese movement, as the western media claimed.
In the words of the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov on the eve of the visit of the honoured guests from Lebanon: "We maintain contacts and relations with them because we do not consider them a terrorist organization…  Hezbollah was elected by the people to the Lebanese parliament. They are cabinet members and ministers who are from Hezbollah in Lebanon. It’s a legitimate socio-political force.”
"Hezbollah”, which is Arabic for Party of God, is a Qur’anic term holding promise of the triumph of Godly forces over the hordes of the devil.
The popular movement, which is supported by all sections of the Lebanese people, such as Sunni, Druze, and Christian, drove out the Israeli occupiers from southern Lebanon in 2000, and then in 2006 during the 33-day war it shattered the myth of invincibility of the Zionist regime.
Currently, Hezbollah is active in Syria at the invitation of the government of President Bashar al-Assad, and has successfully routed the macabrely murderous takfiri terrorists which were funded by Saudi Arabia and armed by the US, France, Britain, and Israel.
Moreover, Hezbollah as the core of the Resistant Front, fully supports the Palestinian struggle for liberation of Islam’s former qibla, Bayt al-Moqaddas, and backs the people of Yemen in their heroic defence against the Saudi-UAE invasion.
At the same time, Hezbollah spares no effort to bolster the economic, social, and cultural conditions of the Lebanese people in the face of Zionist threats and US economic terrorism, with its network of charity organizations and its own banking system – in addition to its arsenal of weapons to deter any attack.
These measures have sent shivers down the spine of the evil Israelis as could be evident by the statements of their war minister and senior army officials.
Benny Grantz and Uri Gordon are scared to death when they equate Hezbollah power with that of Yemen’s Ansarallah which has shaken Saudi Arabia to its very foundations.
Thus, one false move by Israel, and a doomsday scenario will certainly engulf all of Occupied Palestine.
