Tehran, April 22, IRNA – The visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Islamabad is determined to develop relations at the excellent level with Tehran.
Imran Khan made the remarks in a meeting held Sunday with Custodian of Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (Eighth Shia Imam), Hojjatoleslam Ahmad Marvi in Mashad, capital city of northeastern Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi.
The Pakistani premier arrived in Tehran late on Sunday. When he and his high-ranking eco-political delegation started Iran's tour from holy city of Mashad indicated that Pakistan and Iran are the two Muslim and friendly states and they enjoy religious commonalities as well. He said that the two sides are willing to further the level of bilateral cooperation.
Imran Khan said he makes his all-out efforts to foster Islamabad-Tehran relations.
Imran Khan is visiting Tehran for the first time after his election as the Pakistani premier in August 2018.
The visit is taking place on the occasion of 70th anniversary of establishment of Iran-Pakistan relations.
