At a time when drums of war are being beaten to browbeat Iran by the forces of evil led by Donald Trump’s "B Team” (to quote Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s apt description of John Bolton, Benjamin Netanyahu, Ben Salman of Riyadh, and Ben Zayed of Abu Dhabi), the Islamic Republic ought to be on maximum alert, but with full confidence in the Infinite Power of the Almighty Creator, Who assures believers in the holy Qur’an: "They planned and God planned, and certainly God is the Best of planners.” (3:54)
Indeed, Iran and the people of Iran will always remain grateful to God for being their Protector at critical junctures over the past four decades, including the miracle at Tabas, whose 39th anniversary we marked on April 25, and which stands out as a Divine Slap on the face of the US. It was a memorable day when God Almighty showed a glimpse of His signs when He decreed particles of sand to rise as high as 10,000 feet in the air in the form of a dense white cloud, swirling, whirling, and twirling around an airborne US invasion force which had stealthily descended upon a remote strip in the Iranian desert near Tabas in the dead of night for a surprise assault on Tehran, where with the help of turncoat Iranians, they would kill senior revolutionary leaders, overthrow the Islamic Republic, and free the 52 American spies. Despite this debacle, the US, in line with its satanic nature, failed to learn lessons. It tried a coup that was nipped in the bud at the Hamedan airbase itself. It stepped up support for terrorists whose killing of the innocent failed to dent the resolve of the nation.
It ordered Saddam of the repressive Ba’th minority regime of Iraq to launch a destructive 8-year war that proved a blessing in disguise for the unity of the Iranian people, and the determination to develop the defence industries which have transformed the Islamic Republic into the region’s leading military power. The long list of Washington’s crimes against humanity means, that Iran should never trust the US. The hyena cannot change its stripes. By nature it is scavenger, devoid of any courage and integrity. It means the moment Iran drops guard, the rapacious beast would attack.
And this latest round of illegal sanctions against Iran by Trump and his thuggish clique, only betray the dastardly nature of the "B Team” including the gangster Mike Pompeo (spelt with a "P”) – all of whom are shivering down their spines, at the prospect of armed confrontation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), had famously said: The US cannot do a damn thing. His words hold true, as is clear by the failure after failure of the various plots of the US, including the decisive defeat of the Takfiri terrorists in Syria and Iraq. In other words, long as the Iranian nation adheres to the holy Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and the Infallible Imams of his household, the US will be unable to undermine Iran. Indeed, as the nation that rubbed the nose of the arrogantly ignorant US in the dust, Iran should be determined to march ahead, as per the guidelines of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who has clear stated: "Trump is incapable of doing anything”.
Nonetheless, US lawlessness warrants Iran to spare no efforts in strengthening its defences, including the range and precision of its ballistic missiles, with complete trust in God Almighty that He will never let down a grateful Shari’ah-abiding nation. Trump, Pompeo and the entire B-Team ought to ponder on the humiliating failure of Operation Eagle Claw, in order to avoid a similar or worse fate, since God’s Promise to the believers is true: "Soon We shall show them Our signs in the horizons and in their own souls until it becomes clear to them that He is the Real. Is it not sufficient that your Lord is Witness to all things?” (Holy Qur’an 41:53).
