The deceit of talks with US

Tehran (ISNA) – US officials and President

Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike

Pompeo at the

head of them claim they are ready for talks

with Iran, repeating the assertions every day

in their rhetoric.

But the remarks are accompanied by

intimidation, military threat and increasing

political and economic sanctions, which

make their claims seem false and meaningless.

In his Wednesday statement, Iran’s Supreme Leader started with refusing assertion by US officials to negotiate with Tehran: US’ proposal to hold talks is a deceit. When the enemy couldn’t reach its purpose by pressure, it proposes negotiation presuming Iran’s nation naive.
The leader said the negotiation bid pursues disarmament and elimination of Iranian nation’s strength.
In this regard, other Iranian officials also insisted that US’ negotiation bid is only real when not accompanied by threats, otherwise it’s just bullying.
President Hassan Rouhani said, “Americans has proved that their claim to hold talks with Iran is just groundless, false and vain. While Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe was holding talks in Tehran, US imposed a new sanction, which was the best way to show that he is a liar who is playing game”.
Foreign Ministry spokesman, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi pointed to American officials’ inconsistent statements, saying, “Such paradox in remarks by American officials over Iran shows their political confusion, lack of policy and uncertainty”.
“We don’t consider such rhetoric and the only important thing for Iran is practical measure and a change in US’ political approach towards Iran,” he added, calling US officials’ claims deceptive and unreal which are aimed at attracting public opinion.
Iran ambassador to United Nations, Majid Takht-Ravanchi noted, “How can we negotiate with a government that puts people under pressure? They imposed new sanctions just recently. How can we hold talks with somebody who threatens Iran?”
“The current situation is not prepared for talks. You can't sit on negotiation table under the shadow of threats. That was US that began tensions against Iran,” he added.
Advisor to President Rouhani, Hessamoddin Ashena stressed that US’ readiness for holding talks without precondition is not acceptable, as sanctions and threats continue.
Iran ambassador to UK, Hamid Baeidinejad said, “Washington can’t force Iran for negotiation by putting pressure”.
Spokesman of the Guardian Council, Abbasali Kadkhodaei said, “As the Supreme Leader said, negotiation with US’ untrustworthy administration is a lethal poison”.
Spokesperson of the parliament's commission on national security and foreign policy, Seyed Hossein Naghavi Hosseini said, “US’ new sanctions on Iranian top officials show that Washington’s administration is unreliable and unnegotiable and we can’t hold talks under current situation”.
Iran’s ambassador to Japan, Morteza Rahmani Movahed said, “US left the JCPOA negotiation table and its claim to hold talks with no precondition is a deceit. If US is honest, it should return to the JCPOA and lift sanctions”.
Former member of Parliament’s national security and foreign policy commission, Abbas Ali Mansouri Arani said, “Under a situation that Trump imposes sanctions on one hand and talks about negotiations on the other hand, undoubtedly, the talks are doomed to failure and we shouldn’t accept the bid”.
Iran newspaper’s political analyst, Abbas Abdi said, “Negotiation under current situation is meaningless. There is no prospect for achieving an agreement. Any negotiation under current situation means accepting bullying and irrational claims of the other side and will have no achievement”.
Representative of Golpayegan and Khvansar district in Iran’s Parliament, Ali Bakhtiar said, “All the Iranian officials believe that we can’t negotiate with Washington under current situation would be to the detriment of the Islamic Republic”.
Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi said, “The first condition of negotiation is mutual trust. You can’t negotiate with Washington which is untrustworthy and doesn’t adhere to the principals and agreements”.

Cyber Censorship – Proof of Falsity of US Social Media Horns

By: Kayhan Int’l

The western media, especially of the US, thrives on lies, deceit, and spin – all hidden behind the veil of claim to freedom of expression, which is nothing but sheer hypocrisy.

In fact, the vast worldwide network of the self-styled open press which churns out false and fake news to mislead masses around the globe is hypersensitive to truth, and the moment it feels the unmasking of its propaganda, it swiftly censors and blocks access.

This has become fully evident by the recent anti-Iran and anti-Russia measures of a number of US-based social media networks, which unable to belie the facts exposing the falsity of the Zionist-controlled propaganda, closed thousands of accounts on allegations of ‘misinformation’.

If it is really ‘misinformation’ as alleged, then the so-called free press instead of disabling the accounts of others should leave it to the audiences to sift truth from falsehood on the basis of what the ‘self-righteous’ western media says.

Imperialism and Zionism, aware of their own flimsy claims, know that once people in the Americas, Europe, and other areas of influence around the world, understand the realities, then the regimes in both the US and Israel would have nothing to justify and would fold up like houses of cardboard.

On Thursday, Google said it had blocked 39 YouTube channels as well as disabling 13 accounts at its Google+ social network and six accounts at Blogger – mostly subscribers from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

If Google Vice President Kent Walker is to be believed, the company has identified and terminated a number of accounts linked to what it said the IRIB organization (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) operating under guise.

Nothing could be far from the truth, and only betrayed the inability of the supposedly biting US sanctions economic sanctions to have the desired effect on Iran, which earlier on Thursday had prompted the US social media giant Facebook to target thousands of accounts in Iran, on the same lame pretext of fighting "misinformation.”

It is interesting to note that among the accounts blocked by Facebook was one belonging to the Quest 4 Truth (Q4T) Iranian network which is purely an Islamic site, having no political agenda and focusing exclusively on ethics and religious values, which many good Christians aspiring for peace and universal brotherhood and striving to cleanse society of such cardinal sins as lies, fraud, avarice, violence, adultery, and terrorism, might fully support.

In a simultaneous move, Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) and Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O) also removed accounts said to be tied to Iranians promoting the Islamic Republic’s geopolitical agenda.

It has now become clear that these supposedly international social media networks are neither free nor independent, and in light of their confessions merely follow the dictates of the CIA.

It is obvious that the US intelligence is also not its own master and has to obey whatever the notorious Zionist network Mossad instructs, and this means negation of Christian values in the West.

We in Iran, however, believe that on no account fact and realities can be suppressed, since truth is destined triumph over whatever sophisticated methods the enemies of humanity use and cybersecurity belt they claim to have built to try to block the righteousness of the Iranian position whose influence is spreading.
