Tel Aviv’ fears the future; what Zionists are concerned most about

TEHRAN - These days, Israeli officials are not feeling so hot, and are extremely concerned about the future, as it is quite evident in Tel Aviv's statements. 

Recent developments in Syria are one of the challenges Israel faces, particularly following the U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria in the next four months. The news came as a shock to Israel. 

 Balancing power in Syria

The Zionist regime knows all too well that, in the wake of a series of victories and widespread gains by the Syrian resistance, the balance of power in Syria has changed in favor of Damascus.

The visits of the leaders of Arab states and their delegations to Syria, as well as the opening of some Arab and non-Arab embassies in Damascus, are among the new developments in that country. In this regard, Lebanese regional expert Hassan Hurdan said: “Zionists feel much worried about their future in the region because of the developments in Syria. Syrian developments have signaled this clear message to Israel that Bashar al-Assad is the ultimate victor.”

 “The Arab countries that once turned the Arab League into a situation room for terrorist operations in Syria and to overthrow Assad, today are returning to Damascus one after the other, to acknowledge their failure. The Zionist regime understands this new development and are apprehensive about it,” he added. 

 The fear of repeating past bitter experiences

The resistance of the Iraqi government and nation had Washington to end Iraq’s occupation in 2011, without Israel’s approval. To Tel Aviv officials, history is repeating itself in Syria. Their concern intensifies as they simultaneously face many other security challenges and crises, including the Palestinian issue, the Great March of Return rallies, resistance operations and increased military and defense strength of resistance groups such as Hamas and Islamic jihad movements.

The resistance movement boosts defense, military strength 

Israelis are also worried about their future position in the region as the military and defense power of the resistance axis increases. The Zionist authorities know well that the Syrian resistance has learned various types of combat skills in different conditions over the past eight years, and the skills can help Syrians overcome any battle. 

Currently, Syrian resistance forces are well-versed in various classical, urban and erosional wars, and have advanced military weapons to reach their military objectives. Damascus's acquisition of the S-300's defense system has also doubled its defense capability.
In addition to Damascus, Lebanon's Hezbollah has gained much military and defensive power over the last few years, an issue that even the Zionist authorities and senior commanders have pointed out repeatedly on various occasions. For example, Israeli commanders have repeatedly said that Hezbollah has more than 100,000 advanced missiles that can be used any time. Earlier, the Israel's Minister of Energy, Yuval Steinitz reaffirmed, “Hezbollah missiles may target the entire Israel.”

Inability to enter the war

In Palestine, the situation is the same, and the Zionists are not able to confront the resistance groups and their missiles; however, the way the Palestinian groups responded to the latest Zionist operations against Gaza shocked Tel Aviv authorities. In any case, now the Zionists themselves admit their weaknesses against the resistance. A prominent official with the Israeli Ministry of Defense acknowledged that the regime's military is not ready at all to conduct military operations in the next wars.

This Israeli official, who requested to remain anonymous, said that Israel's ground forces were ready to fight at the lowest possible level over the past years, and the Zionist community must know that in the event of a war, the regime will pay a very high price. He pointed out that Former IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz was incapable of restoring the military's ability following their defeat in the 2006 Lebanon War.

 The spirit of warfare is gone 

The Russian alliance with the Damascus government is also seen as a threat to Israel in the region, especially after Washington decided to withdraw troops from Syria. Tel Aviv is well aware that Russia’s ongoing legal presence in Syria has led to the weakening of the United States in Damascus and even the region, which could have very dangerous consequences for it.
Political analyst Hassan Hurdan said, “Russia's alliance with the axis of resistance on the one hand, and the hike of Iran’s regional power and its allies on the other hand, have raised Israel’s security and intelligence services’ concern, because they feel that the Zionist army is no longer capable of much achievements in the war… Today, contrary to public belief, the Zionist regime is under the siege of the resistance forces and its military power is crippled. Today, the Zionists have neither the spirit to fight nor the spirit to win.”

Hariri major obstacle behind formation of Lebanese government

The former Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour regarding the current obstacles of the formation of the Lebanese government, mentioned Saad Hariri as the major obstacle of the formation of a new Lebanese government.

Lebanon's former foreign minister, Adnan Mansour, on the sidelines of the thirty-second international conference of Islamic Unity in a conversation with Qods News Agency (Qodsna) regarding the current obstacles of the formation of the Lebanese government, said : The problem with the formation of the Lebanese government has nothing to do with Hezbollah, the election laws, according to which the elections were held, led to a relative situation of the presence of all parties in the parliament, in this election, a number of independent representatives from the Sunni parties gained seats, this matter is related to the prime minister, not Hezbollah! As the problem of forming a government is not directly related to Lebanon's Hezbollah, the main problem is the formation of a fraction of Sunni individuals with the presence of 10 representatives representing almost 35 percent of Sunni representatives. In fact, the prime minister cannot decide on this group of 35% and will implement what he sees.

He stressed: "Indeed, I think the main problem the prime minister himself. If he is faced with internal pressure on this issue, he should point to these issues, and when he does not point out, that means there is no pressure, prime minister should be responsible and responsive to Lebanon's public opinion, since Lebanon is in the midst of many problems and a new government should be set up as soon as possible.

The former Lebanese Foreign Minister regarding the Supreme Leader's referendum proposal on the Palestinian issue said: “I have to emphasize that all Palestinians have the right to return to their homeland." In the United Nations Resolution 194 issued in 1942, the Palestinians have been granted the right to return to their territories and no one can deny them the right. Indeed, no one has the right to force the Palestinians that you don’t have the right to live in your country.”

Adnan Mansour added that "As the Supreme Leader speaks out about the right of the people of Palestine to hold a referendum, this is an accepted issue, I cannot even imagine that a single Palestinian would accept to live outside Palestine. It is a right to return to a sacred right that the Palestinian people emphasize on the realization of it, as well as the resistance movements of Palestinians struggle to emphasize the realization of this right.”

Hezbollah’s culture of martyrdom

BEIRUT, Nov. 10 (MNA) – Annually, Lebanon’s Hezbollah marks the Martyr’s Day, on the 11th of November. Hezbollah’s pervasive culture of martyrdom has sustained since its establishment, in the 1980s, in the aftermath of the Zionist occupation of the Lebanese south.

A martyr, who sacrifices his life to safeguard his homeland’s causes sovereignty and freedom; deserves to be celebrated every day and every moment. Martyrdom is a core embodiment of the concept of obedience to God that leads to the eternal life; the life of authentic contentment and tranquillity. This culture of self-sacrifice in the sake of the resistance is wholeheartedly viewed as the ultimate form of national, moral and religious devotion.

To examine Hezbollah’s culture of martyrdom, it is important to mention that this act is a responsibility and a moral that should be raised across the oppressed and colonized nations.

Furthermore, this lofty value to sacrifice one’s self in the sake of his homeland, has always occupied a sacred space in the Shia religious tradition, dating back to the seventh century’s Battle of Karbala and the auspicious martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad’s grandson Imam Hussain, viewed as an icon of resistance and sacrifice.

The culture of martyrdom has been prompted and perpetuated due to the solid faith of this resistance’s mothers, who bring up their children and instill within them the values of self-sacrifice and dignity.

This culture serves as a philosophy of life, as when a patriot hero sacrifices his life he would secure the life of the whole community. He heroically opposes the aggressive Zionist and imperialist enemy who attempts to patronizing his compatriots and humiliating them.

Hezbollah’s legions consist of middle-class elites who adore life, but an honourable one. They are highly educated, practice many hobbies, own business and lands and have aspirations and ambitions.

Hezbollah community supports those youth and prepares them at all levels. Those youth are responsible, enlightened and well alert of the conspiracies that surround them. You can notice how active they are in their society, media and social platform.

Hezbollah’s youth, both young men and women, are well aware of the Westerns’ malignant colonial discord that aims at rupturing the Ummah’s unity and inflaming sectarian hatred. They are also well aware of the Westerns’ colonialist plots to control their natural resources and riches.

Meanwhile, amid the American psychological war, aka the American Soft War, they show complete readiness to combat these capitalist dirty schemes, particularly through following the leadership’s guidelines and recommendations.

In addition, this powerful dogma, regarding martyrdom as a privilege, has urged thousands of mothers to encourage their sons to sacrifice themselves and remain firm on the path of resistance; as each one’s sacrifice inspires thousands to follow this honorable path.

The legendary of Martyr Leader Imad Mughniyah’s family, aka the Leader of the Two Victories [2000&2006], who destroyed the Zionist army in South Lebanon, has now become an idol for the resistance community. A legendary martyr who helped Lebanon’s national army retake the occupied lands and thwart the Zionist aggression.

The traditional-historical interpretation of martyrdom is highly significant, as the martyr is rewarded with a special status in Islam. The founding father of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini says, “Our nation looks forward to an opportunity for self-sacrifice and martyrdom; as such, red death is much better than black life.”

“Every drop of martyr’s blood is turned into hundreds and thousands of drops, nay, into tons of blood and is transfused into the body of his society. It is the martyr who infuses such fresh blood into the veins of such society.” Imam Khomeini’s disciple Martyr Morteza Motahari [an Iranian cleric, philosopher, lecturer, and politician], states.

Moreover, Hezbollah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah notes, “our people in Palestine, as in Lebanon, possess a substantial power; they are lovers of martyrdom, lovers of meeting God, lovers of departing to the vicinity of God and the eternal paradises.”

This annual commemoration and the distinct exhibition of the martyrs’ written and recorded wills and biographies convey a message of power and commitment to continue this praiseworthy path against the imperialist and Zionist hegemonic powers; since it is considered one of the highest obligations.

This year and after the global imposed assault on Syria, Hezbollah resistance is going to pay tribute to its heroes who have played a significant role in the fight against Takfiri terrorist Daesh and Nusra Front, established, backed and financed by the US, UK, the Zionists, etc.

Due to their outstanding sacrifices, Hezbollah, various resistance movements and the Syrian Arab Army’s martyrs have all smashed the Western war. The colonialist dreams aimed at spreading anarchy and dividing the neighboring Syrian Republic. Thus the Axis of Resistance has thwarted the war’s objectives and prevented the spread of the conspiracy into Lebanon.

At the same time, the US President Donald Trump has just imposed a new round of sanctions on Hezbollah, earlier this week. This decision would be disastrous for Lebanon’s already deteriorating economics, in an attempt to embarrass the government, after Hezbollah has become Lebanon’s de facto security guarantee.

Hezbollah has further won more than half of the seats at the legislature in May’s parliamentary elections. The US and its Persian Gulf allies want to punish Hezbollah, on behalf of the Zionist enemy, which the resistance would painfully smash.

‘Arab NATO’, US new pretext to spark war

Basically intentions to dominate Muslims should focus on dividing the Islamic community though hostile endeavors have all been foiled due to insight and gallantry of Muslims besides their religious leaders.
 
Whenever the world of Islam has found the opportunity to revive its solidarity and honor, hostile efforts to create religious and ethnical tensions surge; therefore, with the appearance of racial voices, particularly in the decades following post-revolution era, we have witnessed the outbreak of an 8-year war under the title of “Magus Persians” (Zoroastrian Persians) which let out racial and sectarian cries to invade Islamic Iran.

 
Clearly merely by Iraqi dictatorship has not been behind the plan and mottos for this war rather it was an international and regional plot which hired all available military might as well as intelligence and media capabilities in the region and across the globe. However, the world has been witness to failure of the plot and topple of Iraqi dictatorship.
 
This ripple of sectarianism and racism had happened once more when Lebanese Hezbollah beat Zionist forces. Condoleezza Rice immediately headed for regional countries to prepare them for sectarian war. Though today, following failure of the American project across Muslim world and following the Islamic Awakening, al- Aqsa Mosque Intifadha and Palestinian March of Return, the US has once again returned to mobilize the regional people under the title of ‘Arab-Sunni NATO’ and pretext of confrontation with development of Iran.
 
This thought is not a maiden one since it has previously been proposed by former US presidents for several times. What encouraged Donald Trump to propose that again was his illusion of victory in the Islamic-American meeting held in Riyadh in 2017.
 
It would be better if this thought does not receive welcome by other countries because the US is not concerned over interests of other nations and regional and that domestic intervention of the US will be seriously rejected by these nations since it would guarantee nothing but interests of Washington and Tel Aviv.
 
An Egyptian journalist has rightly defined,” Ordinary people in the Arab world are aware that to force some Arab countries for a massive military and religious confrontation with Iran will only materialize US objectives and not demands of the Arab nations, among them an increase in American weaponry, Arab states will face huge loans and humiliation of their rulers plus astonishing disintegration of the Arab nations while strategic capabilities of Israel in confrontation with Arab and Islamic countries will increase. These are the apparent objectives of the US-Zionist coalition, clearly with no relation to interests of the Arab countries. If all Arab nations understand these issues, national leaders would not be concerned since they would know protecting the sovereignty and honor of their countries as their major mission.
 
Such projects highlight necessity of proximity among Islamic denominations as to confront the most dangerous plots in the world, which aim destruction of the whole region, is the main responsibility of Islamic proximity. We hope that all orthodox people understand the importance of the issue in a bid to rise for aiding the objective of proximity and confront intrigues for division.

Palestinians demonstrate & reject Trump’s ‘Deal of Century’

Hundreds of Palestinians have once again expressed their complete rejection of the so-called “Deal of the Century” proposed by US President Donald Trump, demanding Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to stand firm against what they branded as the “Deal of Disgrace.” Palestinians from all walks of life marched through the streets of Ramallah, a major city in the occupied West Bank, on Monday, voicing their support of the Palestinian leadership and stressing that the US so-called deal would defiantly fall apart. The so-called deal, a backchannel plan to allegedly reach a peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians, was proposed by the US administration late last year. Although the plan has not been released, leaks signal it will consist of the same tried and failed ideas. Palestinians believe that the deal suggests building their own Jerusalem al-Quds from areas surrounding the existing city and forget about the historic place. They also believe that the US-drafted plan calls for keeping borders and security under Israeli control, while it keeps Israeli settlements’ final borders to be discussed in later negotiations. Earlier this month, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that Trump’s much touted “the Deal of the Century” aimed to terminate the Palestinian cause. Nasrallah added at the time that Israeli officials have been seeking to change the demographic make-up of Jerusalem al-Quds ever since the Tel Aviv regime was created. Last week, Trump’s senior adviser, Jared Kushner, said details of the proposed deal would be announced soon. A number of top Palestinian officials were also among the demonstrators, including Deputy Head of the Fatah movement Mahmoud al-Alul, member of the movement’s Central Committee Jamal Muheisen and the governor of the Ramallah and al-Bireh district Laila Ghannam. “We do not want your aid, we want a Palestinian state,” said al-Alul during a speech at the rally, addressing Trump. He added the US “is not qualified to lead the peace process”, stressing that Jerusalem al-Quds “is the capital of Palestine.” The protesters were waving the Palestinian flag and carrying pictures of President Abbas, as they chanted slogans denouncing the “ominous deal”, the overwhelming American support for the Israeli occupation. They also chanted slogans in support of Abbas and his “wise” policies, stressing the importance of Palestinian national unity. “You are aware of the price that our people have paid for liberation. Thousands of our people have martyred so far and thousands others are suffering in the Israeli prisons. Our pledge to our martyrs and prisoners is that we will not accept anything less than the liberation of our lands, independence and freedom of our people,” Alul further said during his speech. The US-Palestine ties deteriorated last December, when Washington recognized Jerusalem al-Quds as the “capital” of Israel and announced plans to transfer the embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy city. Israel lays claim to the whole Jerusalem al-Quds, but the international community views the city’s eastern sector as an occupied territory and Palestinians consider it as the capital of their future state. The contentious move led Abbas to formally declare that Palestinians would no longer accept the US as a mediator to resolve the conflict, because Washington was “completely biased” towards Tel Aviv. The US embassy relocation took place on May 14, the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Nakba Day (the Day of Catastrophe), sparking deadly clashes in the Gaza Strip. “The rally is a message to the US administration and the Israeli government that the Palestinian people insist on resolving the conflict in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and refuse to abandon their inalienable rights,” said Dalal Salama, a member of Fatah’s central council, at the rally. Trump has times and again called his yet-to-be-released plan as “The Deal of the Century”, but it is coincidentally the title of a 1983 comedy, which features a bunch of hapless arms dealers, who compete to sell a weapon, called the Peacemaker, to a South American dictator.
