He declared that the achievements of the Resistance Front are beyond imagination.

At the opening of Tuesday’s session of the Supreme Supervisory Board of the Expediency Council, Ayatollah Larijani offered condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah al‑Zahra (AS). He also paid tribute to senior Hezbollah commander Martyr Haitham Ali Tabatabaei and his companions, describing their loss as a heavy blow for Hezbollah and the Resistance Front.
Ayatollah Larijani cited the election of a Muslim Shi’a figure, who has publicly voiced opposition to the Zionist regime, as mayor of one of America’s largest cities as evidence of growing popular dissent against U.S. government policies. He emphasized that widespread support from free people around the world, especially in the West and the United States, for the Palestinian cause demonstrates the victory of the Resistance Front.
He added that while the people of Gaza and the Resistance movements in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen have paid a heavy price in the recent conflict, their achievements in mobilizing global opinion against the Zionist regime are beyond the imagination of both the U.S. and Israel. He further stated that the assassination of commanders from Hezbollah, Yemen, and Hamas does not constitute a victory for the Zionist regime, which today stands discredited worldwide as a perpetrator of war crimes and genocide.
Concluding his remarks, Ayatollah Larijani reiterated: “The surrender of the Resistance Front is an illusion, and the Zionist regime will never reach this aspiration.” He expressed hope that God will grant victory to the Resistance Front through the presence of youth and the succession of fallen commanders.
