Cleric: If the Prophet Were Alive Today, He Would Not Be Silent About the Crimes

He emphasized that if the Prophet were among us today, he would not only remain silent in the face of these horrific crimes, but would also call the nation to rise up against injustice.

Hojatoleslam Mokhtari-nia, the cultural deputy of the Islamic Propagation Organization of Kurdistan province, in an interview with Taghrib News Agency, offered condolences on the passing of the great Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
He called this day an opportunity to re-examine the Prophet's mission and the responsibility of the Islamic nation toward the oppressed of the world. "Today, Gaza is the most wounded place on earth, and the Prophet of Mercy was always a refuge for the oppressed," he said.

The Prophet: A Supporter of the Oppressed and an Enemy of Oppressors

Referring to the Prophet's conduct in confronting oppression, he emphasized: "The Messenger of God (PBUH), throughout his mission, stood by the deprived and the downtrodden. From the boycott in the Valley of Abu Talib to the conquest of Mecca, from defending orphans to confronting the oppressors of the Quraysh, the Prophet was always the voice of justice. If he were among us today, he would undoubtedly stand with the people of Gaza and call the nation to their aid."

The Prophet's Conduct: A Guiding Light in the Age of Oppression

The cultural deputy of the Islamic Propagation Organization of Kurdistan added: "In a famous hadith, the Prophet said: 'Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or is oppressed.' This means that not only must we defend the oppressed, but we must also stop the oppressor from committing injustice. Today, the Zionist regime is the symbol of oppression, and the people of Gaza are the most oppressed people of our era. Silence in the face of these crimes is a betrayal of the Prophet's mission."

The Islamic Nation: The Inheritors of the Prophet's Mission

Mokhtari-nia spoke of the Islamic nation's responsibility after the Prophet's passing: "The Prophet is gone, but he left us the Quran and his progeny so we do not lose our way. Today, defending the oppressed people of Palestine is a continuation of that very path. Every tear shed in mourning for the Prophet must be accompanied by a cry against injustice. If the Prophet were here today, he would lead Medina to Gaza."
In conclusion, he stressed the role of scholars, media, and cultural elites in enlightening public opinion, stating: "We must be the voice of the oppressed with our words, our pens, our art, and our media. The Prophet (PBUH) said: 'Believers are like a single body; if one part feels pain, the whole body must react.' Today, the pain of Gaza is the pain of all of us."
