Taught Zionists Any Illegal Act Carries Heavy Penalty
Bagheri Kani said during Raisi’s term, Iran’s foreign approach was based on three pillars, including the neighborliness policy, synergy with independent countries and emerging powers, and deterrence.
“The foreign policy apparatus must provide sustainability in the field of deterrence. The Islamic Republic of Iran can clearly say that it has achieved deterrence against the enemies thanks to the measures and decisions taken over the past three years, the most prominent of which was Operation True Promise,” he noted, referring to Iran’s large-scale retaliatory operation against Israel in April.
During the operation, Iran fired more than 300 drones and missiles at military bases in the Israeli-occupied territories. It came less than two weeks after Israel killed seven military advisors of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in a terrorist strike on the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital city of Damascus.
Bagheri Kani said that Iran used its power to ensure the stability of the region and taught the Zionists that any illegal act carries a heavy penalty.
The top diplomat also said that Iran’s deterrence has today come to the fore.
“Foreigners now feel Iran’s deterrence power, which is one of the achievements made by Amir-Abdollahian,” he asserted, referring to late Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian.
