BEIRUT (KI) – Hezbollah head Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned on Wednesday that the Lebanese resistance would fight with “no rules” and “no ceilings” in case a broader war with Israel erupted, and that nowhere in occupied territories would be safe from Hezbollah’s attacks.
The Israeli military, which has traded near-daily cross-border fire with Hezbollah since October, said late Monday that “operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon were approved and validated”.
On Wednesday the military said its warplanes had struck Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon overnight, while reporting a drone had infiltrated near the border town of Metula.
Hezbollah claimed a drone attack on Zionist troops in Metula. The resistance movement also announced the martyrdom of two of its fighters.
The Zionist military’s announcement that its plans for an invasion of Lebanon had been approved, along with a warning from foreign minister Israel Katz of Hezbollah’s destruction in a “total war”, came as U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein visited the region.
Nasrallah said Hezbollah does not want “total war” but only operates in support of Palestinians, stating that Israel can only talk about waging such a war but is not capable of conducting it.
Nasrallah said that “an invasion of the Galilee remains on the table if the fighting escalates.”
He also said the aerial footage published Tuesday of Haifa’s port was just “part of many hours of footage.”
“We have hours of footage of the city of Haifa,” Nasrallah continued. “We acted in a precise manner to damage technological assets in order to bring Israel to a state of blindness.”
The video showed Hezbollah’s drones flying over a military-industrial complex belonging to Rafael advanced defense systems, which includes numerous factories, warehouses, and testing fields in which components of air defense systems are manufactured and assembled, especially the Iron Dome and David’s Sling.
Iron Dome and David’s Sling platforms, rocket engine test tunnel and storage, air defense missile storage, missile component manufacturing facilities, control and guidance systems factories, company administrative buildings, and missile testing radars, all appeared in the video.

Abdullah, also known as Abu Taleb, who was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon last week alongside three other operatives, Nasrallah delivered a long eulogy for the commander, praising him for his military and human qualities.
Nasrallah said thanks to Hezbollah’s continuous operation, the Israeli military had been forced to divert resources from Gaza. He said Israel has suffered huge economic losses as a result of the evacuation of towns on the northern border and the halt of agricultural and industrial activities in the area.
Despite the military and economic damage, Zionist leaders are not willing to admit the magnitude of the damage, Nasrallah said, in order not to put pressure on prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose priority remains the war against Hamas in Gaza.
He said the enemy hides its losses on the northern front but could not conceal the number of those who have evacuated settlements.
Nasrallah provided specific figures on evacuations, stressing that “42 settlements have been completely evacuated, and life has been disrupted in several others.”
He also criticized the global media’s portrayal of the war, saying, “Since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, there has been a global media machine whose mission is to belittle the actions of the support fronts and the resistance in Gaza.”
The resistance leader also mocked Israel for claiming to possess the strongest army in the region, noting that Zionist troops have not yet been able to completely dismantle Hamas forces in Rafah despite a ground invasion lasting several weeks.
He said the Israeli military and security image was deteriorating, adding “the deterrent military-security image of the enemy is collapsing in front of its people, its society, and the world”.
“They failed to protect Israeli ships, which is a huge failure for the two most important naval fleets in the world, primarily the American fleet,” the Hezbollah chief stressed.
Nasrallah drew two conclusions from the Yemeni front: “First, the American-British failure, and second, the Israeli inability to fight on that front.”
He criticized the Israeli occupation’s pursuit of false victories, stating that “the enemy is panting after a false and fabricated victory that has no basis in reality, just to present it to its audience as a victory”.
The Hezbollah chief highlighted significant losses inflicted on the Israeli occupation by Gaza and the West Bank, as well as from Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq.
“The enemy has understood since October 8 that its positions would be targeted and that we have enough information about them, their fortifications, their equipment, and their numbers,” he said. “We are continuing to strike enemy positions within a certain and specific schedule.”
Nasrallah said “the resistance followed a strategy of blinding the enemy and deafening its ears by targeting technical equipment, radars, balloons, and more”. he explained.
He said, “We have developed our weapons, used new ones, and are keeping other weapons for the coming days to defend our land, our people, and Lebanon’s sovereignty.”
“We have fought only with part of our weaponry until now, and we have obtained new weapons which we will not disclose; this will become evident on the battlefield.”
Nasrallah described the ongoing confrontation as the greatest battle since 1948 with a clear and bright horizon that will change the face of the region and shape its future.
He reaffirmed Hezbollah’s steadfastness and readiness to engage in this historic battle until victory.
“We affirm the solidity of our position and our readiness to continue this historic, humanitarian, and moral stance until victory.”
