This year's Hajj turning point in supporting people of Gaza

TEHRAN, (MNA) – Provisional Leader of Tehran Friday Prayers says that this year's Hajj would be a turning point in supporting the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine.

Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader Ayatollah Kazem Sedighi made the remarks while speaking at the sermons of Friday prayers.

Referring to the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza, he hailed the resistance of the Palestinians in the besieged enclave.

"The nation of America and Europe have woken up in support of the people of Gaza and their students are standing up and chanting the slogan of justice."

Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
