With the genocide toll mounting by the minute in holocaust-stricken Gaza (almost 35,000 dead and 80,000 seriously injured in less than seven months) as the mass murderers in Washington and Tel Aviv play the sadistic game of a never-intending-ceasefire with their Palestinian victims, a new entrant has decided to strengthen the Axis of Resistance by targeting a nerve centre of usurper Israel.
Last Tuesday’s drone attack on headquarters of Trucknet Enterprises in the port of Omm ar-Rashrash (Eilat on the Gulf of Aqaba – an inlet of the Red Sea) by Saraya al-Ashtar was not only a rude shock for the illegal Zionist entity but also for its accomplices amongst the Arab regimes which treacherously keep its economy running through an overland route reaching the Persian Gulf.
Trucknet is responsible for ground transportation in the Zionist entity and it was critically targeted – not by Yemen’s Ansarallah which has effectively blocked the Red Sea route, neither by Lebanon’s Hezbollah which since late October has paralyzed all Zionist life in the northern parts of Occupied Palestine, nor by Iraq’s Hashd ash-Sha’bi or Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) whose sporadic attacks range from US occupation bases in Iraq and Syria to Israel’s industrial lifelines.
The new front of the Axis of Resistance has been activated against the Zionist entity from Bahrain in the Persian Gulf, thereby exposing the vulnerability of not just the Israeli diplomatic and trade missions in Manama and nearby Abu Dhabi and Dubai, but also of the repressive Aal-e Khalifa minority regime and its flimsy protector, the headquarters of the US 5th Fleet.
Saraya al-Ashtar, which along with Saraya al-Mukhtar and Saraya al-Wa’d- Allah, leads the struggle for liberation of Bahrain, made it clear in its statement:
“The Islamic Resistance in Bahrain confirms that it is continuing its movement and support at all levels for our patient people resisting the carnage in Gaza, and it will not stop its operations unless the Zionist aggression stops its aggression.”
The clip of the attack featured a portrait depicting four men: Redha al-Ghasra, Mustafa Yousef and Mahmoud Yahya, who were martyred by the Bahraini regime in prison in 2017, as well as Ahmad al-Malali, who achieved martyrdom in 2019 through yet another unjust execution.
It should be noted that unlike the stealth treason of some Persian Gulf states in collaborating secretly with the US and Israel against the Axis of Resistance, the Aal-e Khalifa minority regime of Bahrain indulges in open treachery against the Palestinian people by having joined the US and the UK in their unprovoked attacks on Yemen and the Popular Ansarallah Movement.
Thousands of peaceful activists, including journalists as well as women and children, are languishing in the dungeons of Bahrain since the Aal-e Khalifa minority regime brutally crushed the democratic aspirations of the Bahraini people.
The protests that periodically occur in Bahrain highlight the pathetic conditions of the prisons where such a large number of people are imprisoned in violation of human rights.
In view of these facts, the opening of the new front of the Islamic Resistance from Bahrain is not only a severe blow for usurper Israel, whose illegitimacy has been exposed to the whole world by the peaceful protests all over the US and in many world countries by university students, but along with fresh hopes for the Palestinian people, has revived hopes of liberation for the people of Bahrain.
