Iran army air force ready to thwart threats: commander

TEHRAN - Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, commander of the Iranian Air Force, has affirmed the heightened state of readiness of the Army Air Force, assuring its capability to thwart enemy threats at any hour.

Addressing participants during the twenty-third preliminary combat training course on Wednesday, Vahedi delved into the significance of Operation True Promise, saying that it showcased the unwavering dedication of the Iranian military forces in all sectors.

Reaffirming the heightened state of readiness of the Army Air Force, Vahedi assured that no external forces is capable of threatening Iran.

In response to the April 1st assault on the nation's consulate building in Syria, Vahedi stressed the imperative of a robust retaliation, expressing full confidence in the steadfast resolve of Air Force personnel.
