BBC admits failure of sanctions policy against Iran: Report

Tehran, IRNA – Anti-Iranian media outlet BBC Farsi has admitted that the policy of imposing sanctions on the Islamic Republic has failed.

In a news article published on Saturday, BBC Farsi implicitly suggested that the sanctions on the Islamic Republic have been fruitless.

The network, which has a dark record of spreading hatred against the Islamic Republic, cited the International Monetary Fund's forecast of a potential 3.7% economic growth rate for Iran in 2024.

The prediction could prove the failed policy of escalating sanctions against Iran, the report added.

The media's confirmation of the failure of the sanctions policy reflects the awareness in the West and even in counter-revolutionary circles of the power and authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
