TEHRAN PAPERS

TEHRAN - In a note, Arman-e-Melli discussed Iran's positions in the region and said: Iran, while supporting the resistance in the region, has opinions about peace and security from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea and from the Strait of Hormuz to Bab al-Mandeb, and as a hegemonic power in the region, it thinks this way that a collective solution should be reached to create peace and stability in the region.
This clear policy of Tehran expresses that Iran does not want to be one of the parties to conflicts and tension in the region and is thinking about stability in the region. Iran's view on the issue of Palestine and now Gaza has also been announced by the highest political authorities and it supports the formation of an independent Palestinian state with the capital of Quds. From this point of view, Tehran's warning to the United States in the United Nations Security Council is a serious and public message, which, if given attention, will benefit the international community. If the U.S. wants the tension in the region not to enter into new conditions, it must persuade Israel to agree to a ceasefire as soon as possible. Apart from this, it should be predicted that the Red Sea will probably become a sea of blood.
Iran: Iran is a safe and cheap way to transfer goods and energy
In an interview with Ehsan Movahedian, an expert on Caucasus issues, the Iran newspaper addressed Raisi's visit to Ankara and wrote: This trip is being carried out in a situation where, in addition to bilateral issues, Tehran and Turkey have also put the organization of cooperation cases in regional areas on the agenda. The relations that are formed based on economic and regional cooperation can be interpreted as a view of the formation of a strategic relationship. One of these issues is the Caucasus issue, which the two sides have not yet reached an agreement on. The problem in the Caucasus is that Turkey wants to create the fake Zangezur Corridor in the Republic of Armenia and Syunik Province, which is completely detrimental to Iran, and Iran is completely removed from the route of transferring goods and energy from China to Europe, and the North-South Corridor of Iran also loses its effectiveness. The solution is for Turkey to be realistic and stop insisting on its positions and accept that Iran is a safe, cheap and suitable route for the transfer of goods and energy, and from Iranian soil without problems and at a low cost can have access to both Nakhichevan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Etemad: The meaning of Iran's hegemony in the Middle East
In a commentary, Etemad dealt with the failure of American presidents against Tehran's strategy and said: Biden, like Obama and Trump, tried to reduce the U.S. military footprint in the turbulent Middle East region, but failed. According to observers, the goals of the American presidents are the same, to deal with the increasing influence and power of Iran in the Middle East. The war between Israel and Hamas has returned the diplomatic and military resources of the United States to the Middle East, a field where the interests of Tehran and Washington meet each other. Today, the United States knows very well that the pro-Iranian resistance axes are considered a serious threat to America and Israel. Therefore, according to the analysts, the perception of a calm Middle East aligned with Washington's interests depends on the understanding of Iran's power and will in the region. Behnam Taleblu, one of the senior active members of the Defense of Democracies think tank, claims that dealing with tense areas and battlefields in the Middle East requires interaction with Iran.
Shargh: Tel Aviv's message to Iran and America
In an article, Shargh discussed the reasons for Tel Aviv's strategy shift in the Gaza war and wrote: The analysis of the developments of recent days and weeks in the Middle East shows a graph of increasing tensions, with the special role played by Washington and Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, in recent weeks, following the inability to realize its desired strategies in the Gaza war, Tel Aviv is taking steps to widen the range of tensions by using the tool of terror against the resistance forces, including Iranian advisers active in Syria. According to Joe Macaron, an analyst of Middle East affairs at the Wilson Institute, the apparent offensive shift in Israel's regional strategy can be explained by several factors, including the motivation of Israel to shift the focus from the impasse in Gaza most importantly, to send a clear message to Iran and the United States. This offensive strategy of Israel not only targets Iran but also aims to put pressure on the Biden administration. In fact, in the current situation, Tel Aviv is taking steps towards increasing tensions with Iran.
