
Considering the latest trip of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to Africa a “success”, Kanaani in an Instagram post said, “Africa is the cradle of noble, freedom-seeking and brave nations, which is rich in natural and human resources”.
“The Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran have always served as a source of hope for the African people to help them strengthen self-confidence and remain steadfast in their fight against colonialism, arrogance, and injustice,” he added.
“Paying attention to Africa is among the main priorities of Iran's foreign policy and Iran’s relations with African nations have always been based on mutual respect and interests,” Kanaani went on to say.
