Despite the elapse of a few days since implementation of the ceasefire and the end of the war, the positions and views of the parties to the war, especially the political and media circles of the Zionist regime, show that the results, achievements and consequences of the war have not been significantly explained. Some of the most important features of the three-day Gaza War are:
First: Regarding the objectives of the Zionist regime, it should be noted that the war was launched in order to realize the principles and “fixed objectives” of the Zionist regime towards the Palestinian resistance groups, alth.000ough the circumstances and developments of the day were not ineffective in its beginning.
The bloody Zionist conflict with the al-Quds Brigades of the Islamic Jihad branch can be analyzed within the framework of the so-called “Lawn Mowing Strategy”. This strategy has been on Tel Aviv’s agenda for many years. The Zionist regime, especially the far-right, believes that there can be no “compromise” with the Palestinian resistance groups, therefore every few years they must be targeted to both prevent the growth and promotion of their quantitative and qualitative capabilities and undermine their “strategic capabilities”. According to this strategy, just as it should be cut from time to time, like when the grass grows too high, Palestinians must be attacked every few years so that they do not have the opportunity to show strength. Unaware that the mentioned strategy, especially in recent years, when the Palestinians have improved their operational and offensive capabilities through intelligent and sophisticated confrontation methods, it has virtually lost its effectiveness and, incidentally, backfired.
Second: The Zionist regime and its aligned political and media circles at the regional and international levels continue to try to show the Zionist regime victorious by making unrealistic claims and relying on Tel Aviv’s technical and intelligence capabilities in assassinating a number of Islamic Jihad officials, while reality is something else.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad, founded in 1981 inspired by Imam Khomeini’s ideas and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution by the students of the Islamic University of Gaza, held the “main pulse” of field and non-field developments related to the Gaza War.
The Palestine Islamic Jihad (PIJ), despite the dozens of those martyred and wounded and losses it suffered, was the “real victor” in the recent battle against the Zionists, an estimate that shows the field, political and security realities, as well as the results obtained in the war.
The Zionist regime, which has a special and high position in West Asia in terms of military power, could not last more than 52 hours in a war it had waged and looked forward to achieving great outcomes!
The resolute reaction of the Islamic Jihad and the precise firing of more than 950 missiles and hundreds of mortar shells at sensitive Zionist centers, including Zionist settlements, air defense systems, economic and industrial centers, Ben Gurion Airport, etc. and in practice, it confounded the Zionist regime and grounded its war machine in Gaza as such that the Zionists were forced to resort to Egypt, in order to get rid of the situation they were entrapped in by establishing a ceasefire as quickly as possible. Finally, by accepting the conditions of the Islamic Jihad and without any achievements, they left the war.
Third: The recent Gaza war had significant consequences and achievements for the Islamic Jihad and the Palestinians, including, it became a real scene for the display of the military power and deterrence of the Islamic Jihad, while demonstrating that the era of the rapid and blitzing victories of the Zionist regime, once known as invincibility in the Arab world, was over. In response to a recent letter from Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Ziad al-Nakhala, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that the jihadists’ brave resistance “doubled the honors of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement and elevated the position of the Islamic Jihad in the glorious resistance movement of the Palestinian nation; neutralized the deceitful policy of the usurper regime; proved that each part of the resistance complex can solely defeat the enemy; by linking the mujahidat (struggles) in Gaza with the West Bank and other resistance forces with their support for the jihad movement, exposed the integrity of the Palestinian nation’s jihad to the face of the evil and deceitful enemy”.
Fourth: For the first time and unprecedentedly during the recent battle, all resistance groups in the region, from Iraq to Yemen’s Ansarallah and other regions, expressed their support for the Islamic Jihad and Palestine and declared that they were “ready to enter the war” in case of the Zionist regime’s rudeness, an issue that does not have a good message for the future of the Zionist regime!
Final point
The recent Gaza war raises two very important and key questions first for the Zionist regime and the second for the Arab compromiser governments in the region and in the Muslim world:
What fate a regime with all its defense, weaponry, technological and intelligence capabilities failed to survive even less than two and a half days against a small Palestinian group will suffer if it is faced with an integrated, cohesive and united force of all resistance groups in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria around the occupied territories? Another question is, could such a regime be a safe haven for some Arab governments that have moved towards establishing diplomatic relations and revealing their bilateral relationship?
