Fuel distribution in Lebanon; issue that removed mask from face of pro-Western figures

Tehran (Qodsna) - One after another, Iranian tankers have sailed to Lebanon. Since the announcement of the departure of the first Iranian fuel carrier by Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah in his speech on Ashura Day, there have been numerous reactions to this new development.

On the same day, individuals such as Saad Hariri, the leader of the Future Movement, and Samir Geagea, the leader of the Lebanese forces, protested against the import of fuel from Iran, coordinated by Hezbollah in Lebanon. Of course, on the same day, some political and religious movements welcomed the import of fuel from Iran and strongly attacked Saad Hariri, Samir Geagea, and other opponents. Outgoing Prime Minister Hassan Diab, Lebanese President Michel Aoun, and Najib Mikati also supported the import of fuel from Iran.

The Zionist regime expressed great concern about its effects on the regional equations and the expansion of the influence of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The same positions were indicated in the comments of American officials.

The US ambassador made a serious effort to prevent this action in any way, and for this reason, he raised the issue of transferring gas from Egypt and electricity from Jordan. The US government has imposed extensive sanctions against Lebanon, and this is the main problem of Lebanon.

Another advantage of Iranian fuel is that because the fuel is imported under the management of Hezbollah in Lebanon, it reaches the Lebanese consumer at a low price. Previously, fuel importers in Lebanon, which are mainly dependent on powerful figures such as Saad Hariri, provided fuel to consumers at a very high and expensive price. Right now, the price of a tank of gasoline is more than a third of the middle class's monthly income, which is why Michel Aoun has argued for the need to review wages. It seems that one of the reasons for the opposition should be their concern that the fuel market will get out of their monopoly.

What can be seen in the reality of the field is that a new equation has been formed and this equation will have a great impact on other regional equations, and this is the main concern of Israel, the United States, and their regional allies. But this question is for the Lebanese society; Why did the United States not show this flexibility before the departure of fuel ships from Iran to Lebanon? Also, why did people like Saad Hariri, who is a mercenary of Saudi Arabia, not take any action to import fuel from Saudi Arabia?
