Tehran’s Azadi Tower Goes Red on Int'l Hemophilia Day
TEHRAN (FNA)- Azadi Tower of Tehran was lit up red on the occasion of the World Hemophilia Day.
The head of the Azadi Tower said that every year, the World Hemophilia Day (April 17), is held by the World Federation of Hemophilia, an NGO, and supportive organizations for coagulation disorders to show support for hemophilic patients.
Azadi Tower was lit up red with the same purpose after the sunset on Thursday evening.
World Haemophilia Day (WHD) is celebrated on April 17 each year to raise awareness about hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. It is an initiative of 'World Federation of Haemophilia'.
