Another Israeli Attempt to Provoke Premature Reaction From Syria

The Zionist air aggression on Syria has yet again drawn blood, and this time the innocent victims who lost their life in the middle of night during sleep, included a toddler.

What if the roles were to be reversed, and Syria were to launch preemptive air strikes on ‘enemy’ targets in Occupied Palestine – called ‘Israel’ by the western media!

How would the UN – always blind, deaf and mute to the regular unprovoked barrage of Zionist projectiles on Syria – react if the government of Damascus, as part of its legitimate right to retaliate against Israel’s crimes, lobbed a few missiles at Tel Aviv?

Pandemonium would erupt, from the corridors of the World Body in New York to the centres of power in Washington, London, Paris, Berlin, and the reactionary Arab capitals of Cairo, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi.

Syria’s act of self-defence would be unanimously denounced as ‘aggression’ or ‘stirring of tension’, if not ‘outright state terrorism’ against the ‘peaceful Israeli people’.

These are the double standards that rule the modern world, where hypocrisy and bullying are not just the bywords, but the right of those who possess might, and are free to amass doomsday arsenals capable of blowing the world to bits, while crying hoarse, subjecting to economic terrorism, and threatening to destroy countries – the Islamic Republic of Iran, for example – which have no nuclear bombs, for the simple reason that Islam forbids the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction.

Sunday night’s Israeli missile attacks – through violation of Lebanese airspace – on the city of Homs and the suburbs of Damascus took their toll of casualties, though Syrian air defense managed to shoot down three of the deadly Zionist projectiles.

With patience and prudence the government of President Bashar al-Assad, which the Israeli-American-Saudi-Turkish nexus failed to overthrow despite using a variety of fully armed terrorists including the macabrely murderous Takfiris, is enduring Israeli lawlessness to try to prevent it from liberating the terrorist-filled Idlib province and to provoke Damascus into a premature armed confrontation with Tel Aviv.

Syria, however, is neither weak nor afraid of taking on the cowardly Zionists. And when the time comes it will definitely swing into action to rain down missiles on the military and industrial installations of the illegitimate Zionist entity, while its ground troops dash down the Golan Heights to obliterate any trace of over fifty years of Israeli annexation.

Of course, Syria will be assisted by swarms of Islamic forces yearning for the liberation of Bayt al-Moqaddas. Then no US godfather and Britain creator or any miserably rich Arab funder will be able to avert the inevitable end of illegal Israel.

In the meantime, Damascus needs to modernize and solidify its air defence system for immunizing the country and the people from the murderous Israelis, along with its quest for reconstruction of the destroyed towns and cities, fully knowing that the road to success and development is not paved with roses, but requires the sweat and sacrifices of the heroic Resistance Forces, which saved the country from turning into Takfiristan.
