The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has lashed out the US President’s plan for deployment of international forces to Gaza calling that as illegitimate.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Javad Haj Ali Akbari, in his Friday sermon, slammed Donald Trump as the main perpetrator in Gaza genocide stressing that his plan recently approved by the UN Security Council is illegitimate, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” This worthless plan, brought to the UN Security Council as a resolution by—himself the main culprit in the crimes of Gaza—has no legitimacy or credibility, and resistance groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad rightly reject it.”
On Monday, the UN Security Council passed a US-drafted resolution which backs US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan for ending more than two years of Israeli genocidal war on Gaza.
Among the clauses was one that supported the creation and deployment of so-called international stabilization force (ISF) to provide security and oversight of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has emphatically rejected the UNSC adoption of the resolution 2803 stressing that the duties of the so-called international Stabilization Force include disarming the resistance which strips it of its neutrality and turns it into a party to the conflict in favor of occupation.
Meanwhile, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani said the resolution’s implementation must not infringe on Palestinian rights, particularly the right to self-determination, statehood, and territorial integrity calling Gaza an integral part of Palestinian territory that must be governed by a Palestinian transitional body and remain protected from annexation or forced displacement.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry also issued a statement stressing the legitimacy of resistance against occupation, apartheid, and colonialism under international law.
It emphasized resistance to be the legitimate response of the Palestinian people to the continued occupation of Palestinian land and the ongoing aggressions of the Zionist regime.
The statement asserted,” The drafters of this resolution have deliberately ignored the central role and position of the United Nations, as well as previous resolutions of the organization concerning the Palestinian issue.”
