National Solidarity Is the Key to Victory/ No Power Can Force Iran to Surrender

Hojjat al Islam Qasemkhani

According to Taghrib News Agency, Qasemkhani pointed to the revealed nature of the West, noting: “At one time, the West claimed to rely on ‘science’ and ‘freedom of thought,’ which led to world wars. Today, however, they openly declare that ‘power governs all relations,’ with the U.S. president proclaiming ‘peace through strength.’”

He explained that this slogan is essentially a declaration of replacing international law with force, meaning countries must either submit or face war. He added that while the West has pursued this policy for centuries, it has now made it explicit.

Qasemkhani stressed that independence cannot be achieved without power, recalling that Iran was independent during the Achaemenid, Sassanid, and Safavid eras due to structural strength, but lost independence during the Qajar and Pahlavi periods when power was lost. He cited the 1953 coup as a clear example of Western interference.
He underlined that resistance against Western domination is not hostility but necessity, clarifying that the leaders of the Islamic Revolution never opposed scientific or commercial interaction, but rejected political and security domination.
Highlighting that the core of Iran’s confrontation with the West since the Revolution has been Western political and security hegemony, he said: “The Revolution’s slogan was ‘Independence, Freedom, Islamic Republic.’ Independence forms the foundation of all policies, and without it, freedom, culture, and economy cannot stand.”
Qasemkhani added that the nuclear issue was merely a pretext, and after the nuclear deal, the West shifted to Iran’s missile program and regional role, showing that its real aim was domination, not resolving specific issues.
He reiterated: “National solidarity is the key to victory. The recent war proved that when the nation and leadership are united, no power can force Iran to surrender.”
He explained that the U.S. and Israel entered the war with specific goals but realized their mistake within days. The Leader of the Revolution, with firmness and confidence, directly commanded the war, maintaining close contact with field commanders and guiding responses with precision.
Qasemkhani noted that although the first three days of the war were intense, the Leader’s strategic command changed the battlefield, simultaneously managing combat, logistics, and the needs of the people.
He concluded: “In an era when Ayatollah Khamenei sees Western civilization on the path of decline, Iran stands independent and powerful against pressures. The West, once claiming reliance on science and freedom, now openly speaks of power. This shift shows the West has reached an intellectual dead end.”
