Larijani: Iran, Pakistan Are Two Influential Countries in Regional Security

Ali Larijani wrote on his account on the social platform X on Monday, November 24, 2025 (Azar 3, 1404): “Today I am traveling to Pakistan, our friendly and brotherly country in the region. Iranians will never forget that during the 12 day war waged by the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran, the people of Pakistan stood alongside the people of Iran.”

Larijani emphasized that Iran and Pakistan are both crucial actors in regional stability and security, adding: “We always value the brotherly relations among countries of the region.”

Regional Context

Previously, a group of military figures and nuclear non proliferation experts at a think tank affiliated with Pakistan’s Air Force warned about the consequences of Israeli and American aggression against Iran.

They stressed that Iran has never violated its commitments under the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT), but has merely exposed the gaps and shortcomings in the treaty.

In addition, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Tahir Andarabi recently reiterated Islamabad’s principled stance against destabilizing and anti diplomatic measures regarding Iran’s nuclear issue. He affirmed that Pakistan supports Tehran’s right to enrich uranium, the revival of the JCPOA, and the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
