Cleric: Global Arrogance Opposes the Core Principle of a 'Strong and Independent Iran'

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Javad Hajj Ali Akbari, during his Friday sermon in Tehran addressed both domestic economic issues and crucial international dynamics.

Referring to the upcoming anniversary of November 4th (13th of Aban)—the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance—Hajj Ali Akbari asserted that the US's enmity toward the Iranian nation is deep-rooted, stretching back 72 years to the 1953 coup.

  • 1-The Identity Conflict: He stressed that "Global Arrogance is against the core principle of a Strong Iran, the identity of an Independent Iran, and a developed Iran."
  • 2-The Hybrid Threat: The cleric pointed to a recent military incident during talks with the US as a fresh page in history, highlighting the joint hostility of the US and its "vicious dog, the Zionist regime." He characterized the US approach as one of "narcissism and foolishness."
3-The Choice of Resistance: Hajj Ali Akbari argued that the Iranian nation is presented with two choices: submission or resistance. He stated the nation’s "crime" is its adherence to the teachings of Imam Hussein (PBUH), refusing to yield to oppression.
4-Strengthening Power: The necessary antidote, he concluded, is to fortify the country’s "soft and hard power." He cited the nation's missile capabilities and military equipment, noting that it was Iran’s hard power that compelled the US and the Zionist regime to request a ceasefire in a recent conflict.
5-Battle in the Schools: He identified the main confrontation with global arrogance as taking place in "schools," where enemies—led by figures like "Gambler Trump and Criminal Netanyahu"—attempt to corrupt the youth and derail them from their path of virtue and devotion.
