Seyyed Ammar al-Hakim, the head of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement, met with Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini, on Monday evening in Baghdad.
During the meeting, Hakim highlighted the life of Imam Khomeini and his role in advocating for the Islamic Ummah (community). He also discussed the regional developments and their impact on the security situation and relations among countries in the region, emphasizing the importance of ties between Iraq and Iran.
Hakim noted that the Arbaeen ceremony presents an opportunity for communication between the nations of the region and the world in the path of Imam Hussain (AS).
He reiterated his call for a ceasefire in Gaza, along with providing aid to the refugees, returning them to their land, and rebuilding Gaza.
He urged the international community to work together and participate in achieving a comprehensive ceasefire.
The head of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement concluded by warning against the continuation of the war by the Israeli regime and the disruption of international peace and security.
