TEHRAN – Against the backdrop of record-breaking debuts and captivating releases, Iranian cinema finds itself enveloped in an atmosphere of anticipation and enthusiasm.

Fragrant 
Concurrent with its premiere, ‘Fragrant’ featuring Mostafa Zamani, Hoda Zeinolabedin, Kourosh Tahami, Homayoun Ershadi, and late Hessam Mahmoudi has released its official poster.
Written by Hussein Hosni and directed by Hadi Moqaddam-Doust, ‘Fragrant’ is a romantic melodrama that touches themes of strength and resilience in the characters’ lives.

Don’t be Embarrassed 2
‘Don’t be Embarrassed 2’, subtitled ‘Separation of Qanbar from Sanam’, directed by Reza Maqsoudi and produced by Amir Parveen Hosseini, has debuted in Iranian cinemas.
Following the success of its predecessor, ‘Don’t Be Embarrassed 1’, the sequel has also released its official trailer.
Starring Shabnam Moghaddami and Ahmad Mehranfar in the lead roles, the film features Bahareh Kian-Afshar, Behrang Alavi, Muhammad Motazedi, Saeed Amir Soleimani, and Majid Shahriyari.

Funnel
Mohsen Amir Yousefi’s film ‘Funnel’, starring Reza Attaran, is also set to hit cinemas across the country.
Produced by Saeed Malekan, the film is ready for release, coinciding with the unveiling of its first photo.
The cast includes Abbas Jamshidifar, Sadaf Espahbodi, Faride Sepah Mansour, Giti Moini, and Reza Nikkhah.
‘Funnel’ marks Yousefi’s fourth film and is anticipated to be one of this year’s top box office performers.

Texas 3
Due to a warm reception and high box office earnings, ‘Texas 3’, directed by Masoud Atyabi and produced by Ebrahim Amerian, has released a new poster.
The comedy stars Pejman Jamshidi, Sam Derakhshani, Jaleh Sameti, and Mehdi Hashemi.

Sweet Agony 2
After about five years, ‘Sweet Agony 2’, directed by Alireza Davoudnejad, is finally coming to cinema screens.
The film stars the late Reza Davoudnejad, Tarlan Parvaneh, Mona Davoudnejad, Zahra Davoudnejad, Ali Davoudnejad, Homayoun Kazemi, and Muhammad Reza Davoudnejad.
It follows a girl who invites her parents to an unfamiliar place for her 18th birthday, prompting them to journey from Manchester to London and reflect on their past lives.

Flight 175
‘Flight 175’, directed by Muhammad Hussein Haqiqat and produced by Saeed Sharafi Kia has been approved for screening in cinemas nationwide.
Featuring Jamshid Hashempour, Sorayya Qasemi, Jafar Dehqan, Reza Tavakkoli, and Atabak Naderi, ‘Flight 175’ marks one of the few directorial debuts to earn significant accolades.
At the 42nd Fajr Film Festival, it won awards for both the “International Section” and the “Manifestation of National Will”.
Additionally, it previously secured first prize in the “Vision” section at the 17th International Resistance Festival.

For Rana
Produced by Morteza Shayesteh and directed by Iman Yazdi, ‘For Rana’ has kicked off production.
According to the film’s public relations team, Hamed Behdad and Panthea Panahi have already begun filming.
The project will feature other prominent actors, whose names will be announced later.
