TEHRAN, (MNA) – Nasser Kan'ani, the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry stressed the need for the immediate cessation of crimes, anti-human and anti-environmental actions by the Zionist regime in Palestine.
In a statement to commemorate Earth Day on Sunday, the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry said that "Iran's diplomacy at the regional and neighboring levels pays special attention to planning, cooperation and collective tackling of the environmental challenges such as dust storms, floods and drought, and is poised to cooperate with other countries in that regard."
Kan'ani said that everyone has to strongly condemn the inhumane and shameful behavior of the Zionist regime in the deliberate destruction of the environment of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the use of planned and targeted destructive operations as a means of pressure against the oppressed Palestinian nation as the world commemorates the Earth Day.
The international community and international organizations need to take urgent and due action to immediately stop different kinds of crimes and anti-human and anti-environmental actions by the Zionist regime in the Palestinian territories, he further stressed.
