Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has emphasized that those who keep silent in the face of the Israeli regime’s savagery should be ashamed of themselves, and that the international community must find a way to free the UN and its Security Council from being a hostage to the US and the Israeli regime.
Nasser Kanaani wrote on his X account on Thursday that the savagery and barbarism of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip continue in front of the eyes of the world public, but the international community has only expressed its views without taking action to end the barbarism.
The spokesman referred to the nearly 32,000 people killed in Gaza since the war began in early October, most of them women and children.
He also touched upon the Israeli regime’s ongoing siege of the Al-Shifa Hospital, which is the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip. Kanaani called the siege and attack on the hospital horrifying, saying that nobody can describe the scale of this blatant barbarism.
