"I emphasized that Afghanistan’s future will be guaranteed under the umbrella of establishing and all-inclusive government comprising of all tribes," Amiabdollahian tweeted.
“I referred to broader cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan’s other Islamic neighbors, and that the future of Afghanistan will be guaranteed under the supportive umbrella of establishment of an all-inclusive government comprising of the entire Afghan tribes and ethnic groups,” wrote Amirabdollahian in his tweet.
He also further reiterated that the liberation of the Palestinians’ motherland, and the first Qibla of the world Muslims, too, was emphasized at the OIC Conference.
Hossein Amirabdollahian travelled to Islamabad on Saturday night to participate at the emergency foreign ministers; meeting of the OIC Conference on Afghanistan.
After meeting his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Iranian foreign minister attended the OIC Conference.
On the sidelines of the conference the Iranian foreign minister also met with Pakistan’s prime minister and the commander of that country’s armed forces in separate meetings, mainly focusing on boosting bilateral cooperation.
He also met and conferred with the foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan Republic, Sierra Leon, Jordan, and the secretary general of the OIC.
