Iran Again Proves its Goodwill to the IAEA

By: Kayhan Int’l

Iran yesterday voluntarily granted access to two more sites for inspectors of the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as proof of the Islamic Republic’s goodwill and cooperating nature.
The head of the UN nuclear watchdog, Italy’s Rafael Grossi, was in Tehran to discuss and pursue the politically motivated approach of Western countries.
According to him, there were some so-called concerns which the IAEA had to track in order to remove doubts.
Without the least doubt, these supposed concerns have been raised by the illegal Zionist entity and supported by Britain, France and Germany.
Israel, which possesses more than 400 nuclear warheads, is not a member of the IAEA and amazingly, no one dares to raise their voice for inspection of nuclear facilities run by the Zionists in the occupied Palestine.
On the other hand, Iran’s peaceful nuclear project is under the thorough 24-hour inspection of the IAEA, and we believe that among these IAEA inspectors there are some spies working for CIA and Mossad.
The IAEA should know that according to the famous Fatwa (religious decree) by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the possession of not only nuclear weapons, but also all weapons of mass destruction is religiously forbidden.
In July 2015, Leader had said, "The Americans say they stopped Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. They know it’s not true. We have a fatwa (religious edict), declaring nuclear weapons to be religiously forbidden under Islamic law. It had nothing to do with the nuclear talks.”
As it is clear, Iran never was and never will be after something which has been forbidden by the dynamic laws of the Islamic Shari’a.
So, why are there so many inspections by the IAEA? Each and every nuclear activity is under inspection of the nuclear watchdog, and still they want more.
At the same time, Uncle Sam, although it has miserably failed, is always craving for extension of the arms embargo upon Iran and calling for snapback of the politically-motivated UN sanctions.
We believe that there is a connection between Grossi’s trip to Iran and the US pressures on the UN Security Council for imposing its illegitimate demands.
If the IAEA is so concerned with the nuclear issues around the world, we advise the body to start its inspection from those who possess and have used nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction – such as the US itself, or for that matter the illegal Zionist entity.
Israel’s criminal use of phosphorus shells in bombardment of civilians in Gaza can be a good start for the body to send its agents for inspections, so also the use of depleted uranium bombs by the US in the early days of its occupation of Iraq.
The world, however, knows that if the UN nuclear watchdog were to call for inspections of the doomsday US nuclear arsenal, and the nuclear warheads of Israel, or try to at least put such an agenda on the table, the IAEA’s budget will be also cut like that of other UN agencies and Grossi will lose his job forever.
